Hearts Belongings - 1. Rebirth

They said running was harder than walking.

Screaming easier than talking.

Understanding more complex when compared to seeing.

And that existing came before being.

I was afraid so I started running.

Couldn't make myself stay, when somewhere the end was coming.

So there was no point in walking with demise,

I wouldn't hold her hand "play pretend" and after edit surprise.

My lungs felt constricted so there was no screaming.

Couldn't shine out bright when darkness, light somewhere be stealing.

So instead of talking to hope, I chose dispair.

I went to a place I knew love wouldn't dare.

I was too preoccupied for understanding.

Couldn't lighten my load and somewhere start caring.

So damn you for granting seeing to once closed eyes,

I cannot permit sleeping with their cruel lullabies.

I was in control before your being.

Couldn't help twisted thoughts when somewhere you brought believing.

So i was merely a shell, died before your existing.

Because when my dark seeds was sown, you ushered in my rebirth.
