Memoirs of a child of the past century - Prologue. Preamble
Why this story ? Why do I feel the need to take stock of my origins and of the ‘become who you are?’. Faced with my memories, I wonder… Is it really necessary to put me forward and to tell you my story? I hope to find the answers to my questions after having written my story; but, who knows?
This isn’t exactly a fiction, it’s a romanced autobiography. I’m not a skilled writer and I haven’t imagination enough to write as the other authors do so well. Do I put myself down too easily ? I suppose it could be one of my flaws….
Is it the right place to bring it here? At first, I wanted to write this story just for my grandchildren. But when I saw that some of my blogs experienced positive reactions, I thought this might be the same for my memoirs.
I hope to get some comments answering the questions. Thanks in advance!
