PeterLefun Poems - 1. The Many Faces of Rain

The many faces of rain

Rain is sometimes slow and easy

Rain is sometimes calm and serene

Rain is sometimes fast and heavy

Rain is sometimes frantic and hard

Rain is varying

Rain has power to cleanse and renew

Rain has power to grow and flower

Rain has power to wear and rot

Rain has power to mud and flood

Rain has power

Rain sounds soft and tranquil

Rain sounds like pitter patter

Rain sounds loud and angry

Rain sounds violent and stormy

Rain sounds wild and free

Rain is soft and soothing

Rain is hypnotic and erotic

Rain is cold and clammy

Rain is harsh and scary

Rain is diverse

Rain comes with wind and breezes

Rain comes with stillness and rainbows

Rain comes with thunder and lighting

Rain comes with power and destruction

Rain comes with companions

Oh God how I love The Rain!!
