Starting out the day, Overwhelming anticipation, Paralyzing fear
Putting on the mask, walking out the door, macho fearless
Underneath tender warmth, can't let it show
Seeing reality, Seeing a lie, The day ends
The mask comes off
He steps into the mysterious, joyful night
Charmed, excited
He is free, Free to be free
