From The Inside - 10. Without Reason

Without Reason

 

Shattered within never to be fully whole

Not knowing all the reasons behind it

Tattered and torn within ever hidden

Giving up naught the internal struggle

Ever condemned to this cycle of mine

Without control to guide my life

All understanding is lost to myself

Incomprehensible memories never to leave

Plunging into my complicated mind

Seeking an endgame to this horror

Divulging secrets never to be told

Hoping to ease the longsuffering

Bridging the gulf of pain and hardship

Learning the ways to free myself

Changing things imperceptible

Never knowing the true outcome

Forcing ones self to move on finally

Accepting the truth of the situation

Realizing that understanding is an illusion

Finding a deeper meaning in it all
