From The Inside - 8. My Hero
My Hero
As I sit here and bear my soul to you
You learn things you never wanted to know
I am sorry that I must tell them to you
So that I will be able to accept myself
I appreciate it that you agreed to listen
And give me all of the help that you can
I have an idea how hard it will be for you
To just sit there and listen and not judge me
You do your best to show me that how I feel
Is ok as long as I can accept it and live with it
No matter how long you decide to help me
Or even if you see this all the way through
I will always have you to thank and be in your debt
For helping me to get on the path to recovery
