The Darkness,I Belong - 1. Chapter 1

The Darkness. I Belong.

I hear it calling

Whispering on the breeze.

A constant reminder

I do not belong

Eternally damned

The shadows, my home.

And then they come

A light illuminating the haze

But alas its not enough

The bleakness prevails

Its power too great.

I feel it growing, its feeding

Consuming my every cell.

What little light remains

Slowly fades, and then,

The darkness.

Finally.

I belong.

This gave me tremors down my spine. I can feel the appeal of the unspoken you bring it on very eloquently. Even if the darkness wins, there is different kind of illumination there...

Lovely, lovely poem! Don't stop with these!

I don't know. I find it hard to connect this poem with your looks. :P

But then it's wonderfully done.

Write more, please. Even if it may be dark.
