This is a story about a young man from Sweden who loves chess and looks for like-minded friends. The story is set in several countries at a very interesting time in chess history, the early 1970s. It is not a story about the game of chess as such but it contains references to actual players and famous games.
An earlier version of this story appeared as several novellas on my website, www.lilale.nl.
