Tiger's Second Book of Poetry: Emotions - 3. Lost in Darkness

Lost in Darkness

You’re lost in the darkness where demons consume your mind

I tried to help you, but their power is too strong.

If only I could help, all would be normal again

You seem so far away, and I can’t rescue you

You’re lost in the darkness where you’re sealed in a cocoon.

I tried to help you, but it’s strength is immense

If only I could help, I could be sanctuary

You seem so far away, and I don’t see the trail

You’re lost in the darkness where no one rescues you

I tried to help you, but I can stand no more

If only I could help you, we’d reach a state of peace

You seem so far away, and I have lost the fight

Chapter Comments

It in a way reminds me of some of the poems i write, except outward seeing instead of inward. Dark painful and seeing someone lost, if i didn't know who it was about, i'd say it was written to me.
