Parable of Man - 1. Parable of Man
The Parable of Man
By W.L
I give you a man
Who has a plan
He desires great wealth
All for himself
He places bets on the markets
He purchases many tickets
Behold, he has wealth
All for himself
I give you a wealthy man
Who has a plan
He desires friends
So his greatness extends
He goes to the bars
He jokes with famed stars
Behold, he has friends
His greatness extends
I give you a wealthy likeable man
Who has a plan
He desires love
A man to be proud of
He writes certain ads
He invites them to his pads
Behold, he has love
To be proud of
Now, I give you a jealous man
Who has a plan
He desired everything
A man not beyond lying
He lies to a man of wealth
He poisons him in true stealth
Behold, he is dead
Alone in his bed
