Yet For You - 1. - Yet For You -

– Yet For You –

We returned to the place
we are yet to build.
24 times.
All through the day.
– And no sun,
rising or setting,
forgot to be seen –

The library in my head had
not a book about your eyes?
– Stop!
Again.
Choose where to crumble –

Because the apple in Eden
bore all questions.
– Collapse! –

Never would I laugh,
nor dance,
or drink,
love enough too
than the day I feel unsolved.
– Do I need another
or myself alone? –

Fleeting togetherness’
producing:
a share of:
frisky tasks.

– Your eyes.
I haven’t seen them.
Ever.
They are green –

Happiness is not joy.
Is it known?
My hands caught their own strings –
now they write omens
in the air
with blond locks.
– Phantoms diminish,
with them the art to woo, too –

I shall build it.
Today.
Or tomorrow.
A place yet to return to.
– With You –

My existence
won’t end
unsolved.

Excellent. Interesting and controlled. Cryptic. Intriguing. You have a great way with words. A genuine poem. One of the very best in the collection. Thanks for this.
