An Apology

I just don't want people to think I have forgotten the story that is being posted. I have three more chapters already written. There are other issues with my team at the moment. One is having personal issues that take complete precedence over my story. I would have serious issues if she tried to do anything while she is dealing with them. I will be looking for someone to fill in part time until things settle down in her life. I do apologize, and I have not abandoned Life Changes. I simply ask for a little patience and I will attempt to get the story back on track, publishing more chapters a week till it is back where it should be.

Your title "Life Changes" says it all.  Nothing stays the same.  Real Life comes first.  I don't think anyone will fault or judge you or your team if you have to focus on what is more important...Life.

Hope all is well.  It's a great story.  I'm sure readers would rather wait to have top quality chapters then to have something you and your team aren't as proud of just for the sake of posting.

Real life is more important. I also think authors shouldn't be apologizing for delays when their share these creative works for free. Readers, although good to have enthusiasm, should also be understanding and patient.

hope everything works out for the best with your team! Give me a shout if there is anything I can do to help.

I agree with Myk.  You are sharing something that no doubt is personal to you.  A reader has no right to demand faster posting or longer chapters and an author should not feel he/she needs to apologize for not adhering to some arbitrary schedule. The words come when they come and sometimes other things have to come first.

I agree with you Wayne.  Real life is of utmost importance, especially when it comes to family.  Hang in there. NO apology needed
