The madcap had a nightcap that turned into a whole bottle,

That's when the hi jinks began, and they were on full throttle.

When I see madcap, I think of The Marx Brothers, The Three Stooges, and Lucy Ricardo (Lucille Ball).

From Jimmy Durante kicking the can to Ethel Merman slipping on the banana peel, It's a Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad World is my favorite madcap movie of all time.

It's the kind of movie hard to make anymore with generations of epic comic talent and some big stars like Jack Benny and Jerry Lewis made uncredited appearances.
