Wowee it's been a long time since I've done a blog! Still don't have much to report so this will be another rambling of not much at all, hehe. We put our Christmas tree up last weekend. I bought a new one. I had reserved 100 dollars to go buy a nice one, I got there and the one I had picked out from a flyer was there, but there was only one left and it was already opened. I couldn't even get it out from where it was crammed between boxes to see if all the pieces were there. So I went and found someone, which I NEVER do, I most always just settle for something else. But this was a Christmas tree! So I found a nice man who was able to get the tree down and we checked and it was all there, and he said 'you know, those other trees are just as nice as this one and thirty dollars cheaper.' So I thought on it for a bit, I didn't' want to get home and have a tree what you could see the pole the whole way up the center, but I'm thinking 30 bucks cheaper! So in the end I got the cheaper one. And I was nervous until I got home and we got it all set up and you know what?.....IT'S A BEAUTIFUL TREE! I was soooo happy. We put all color lights on it, but all gold and silver ornaments. It's really pretty, I'm not going to want to take it down. I just wish we could put presents under it, but I have a bad kitty! She loves wrapping paper. In fact when I wrap presents I have to give her a big sheet of her own to play with so she'll leave me alone while I'm trying to wrap.

It's amazing the little tricks you learn to get your cat to do what you want. Mine always comes when I sing 'Somewhere Over the Rainbow.' No matter what, there's only been one time she didn't come and that was when someone had locked her in the closet and didn't know it! And when she gets in the washer machine and won't get out, I just have to press down on the can opener and out she comes. I think the cutest thing though is every single night when I pull in the driveway I can see her sitting up in the window waiting for me, well me and her dinner! But still I think it's sweet.

Our Christmas party at work is next Friday, We are ordering from a seafood place and I'm going to get lobster stew, YUM! Also we'll get our bonuses and I can't wait to see how much mine is. Sam's Christmas party is sometime soon, I get to go to that because his work actually invites other people to their parties and they don't have it in the middle of work. They have a nice meal and everything! Last year I got to have prime rib and it was incredible.

I'm working on a new story, Unbreakable Faith only has a few more weeks. I've been trying to make it so there would be no gap between stories but there may be a little one, as I sit here doing this blog and not writing it! Hehe. I know I said in earlier blogs that I was scared to post UF but I'm very glad I did, it has gotten a great response and I thank you all for that.

Well I best get ready for work. Have a great day!

Aww the cat rip the paper apart? if he hide a treat for amber (our dog) she would try to open it lol, or start whining, sniffs some of the gifts.

She never knocks down the tree, we get real tree's.

Hehe, Robert and I bought a tree last year and still have not set it up this year, although I brought it in from the storage shed (something about both of us being fairly busy). Dogs and cats aren't too dissimilar, although I think you should be glad you don't have to worry about the dog knocking the tree down every time she wags her tail! (Still, wouldn't bet on how many nice, shiny gold and silver ornaments you're going to lose to the cat!)

:)

Happy Holidays...can't wait for more Unbreakable Faith!
