The Bunny Wars Redux

Monday the 10th of October 3:12 p.m.

The devil returned on this day. As I took out my trash I saw him. The little bastard that has given me sleepless nights. He waves from the back seat of his parents car as his parents drive by. "Dude what's that kids problem?" asks Chaz.

"I don't know man but I'm fearing for my life right now," I answered as the chill climbed down my spine.

Monday Night 5:35 p.m.

a loud thud comes from the back of my house. I walk towards the back to investigate. Somebody has written the words F-U on my door with spray paint.

Monday night 6:00 p.m.

A police cruiser is parked outside of my house. As I explain to police officer what the little bastard had done another police officer is yelling at the boy. The parents are furious not at their son but at me. "How could you call the cops on our son," The mother asks me.

To which I quickly reply, "Because apparently you guys can't control your own son and I was given no choice. I tried to be nice to you poeple but that didn't work. I tried to speak to you personally and that didn't work. I could have called the humane society on you and I didn't. I did what I thought to be right but apparently I was wrong. So now I am getting a restraining order on you and your sons."

She looked down right outraged. This is when the fatehr spoke up. "Listen Green can't we work this out? Is a restraining order really neccessary?"

"I think it is," said my Bf. "I think that this is the only thing that is going to work."

"Do you want to press charges?" asked the officer who I was falling in love with. Bad Green, Bad Green, now back to the story.

Needless to say I didn't press charges but I did get the restraining order. That night I heard yelling coming from their house and the very next day the cops took the boy to juvenile court for psychiatric evaluation, as he had threatened his father...

You showed much more restraint and tolerence than I would have in not pressing charges. The kid needs help. Hopefully, now he'll get it. Make sure you send the bill for fixing the door to the parents.

Yes, let's hear it for men in uniform! :music:

Green-

Take care with your budding psyco Green. He sounds like a real winner. With parents like those, he would have probably gotten away with his behavior until he had gotten into serious trouble. You did the right thing; even if it doesn't feel like the right thing.

Wow so that is where you have been this past while. What a grest story to tell, I can only home that family comes together. Clearly, the father is starting to come to terms with what needs to be done for the cops did come and took the boy to get tested.

Good for you Green, I remember when kids up the street from me broke every damn window in my kennel because they were wackos Heck they even threw a 2by4 at me, and had I not been holding this board up I would be dead right now. Some days that isn't such a bad thing. No I'm not thinking like that, just been a really sucky year thats all. :(
