2025 Poetry Anthology - Diversity

Looks like I'll be making another effort at poetry. Mild spoiler, nobody dies.

This time, on the World Day of Poetry no less, I quote and quite clumsily translate a poem by the wonderful Masha Kalèko:

Mein schönstes Gedicht?

Ich schreib es nicht.

Aus tiefsten Tiefen stieg es.

Ich schwieg es.

My most beautiful poem?

I won't write it.

From the deepest deepness it emerged.

I remained silent.
