Also looking for a story

Sometime ago I read a story (that I'm now trying to find again) about a high school senior, one of a wealthy family of 3 or 4 boys/men based in New Orleans whose parents were killed in a plane crash. I'm not sure where I read it, or even if I'm posting this in the right place. Any help greatly appreciated, and thanks in advance!

Probably not what you are looking for, but there is a plane crash and one person´s family is killed, but it´s not based in New Orleans. Great story anyway
