    Chapter 5

    Watch first, report later...
  2. So Caleb and Tyler are half brothers? That's unexpected. Everybody is in everybody else's business in this town, both figurative and literal it seems.
  3. Daune is going to be the next victim. He knows something, too many people know he knows it, and he is going to try blackmailing the murderer. I do have a thought about the art teacher. She did CPR, she pulled the book out of the dead girls hand, totally messed with the evidence when the girl was clearly dead - signs of rigor mortis. All to cover up evidence she may have already left on the body when she killed her?

    Chapter 2

No appearance by the Ibelin contingent yet...
  5. The last couple of paragraphs of the last chapter don't match this one. Lukas communicated with them at the end of the previous chapter after arriving in the system. In this version no such communication happened. The way it happens in this chapter is better. Dropping the inconsistency from the last chapter would be good.

    Chapter 11

I appreciate the answers to outstanding questions, like what does Ben really do for a living, and the issue of Matty not having gone away. The reconciliation between the serial killer with a fixation on hand damage of the last story, and the classic sociopath of this story haven't quite come fully together yet, but there's progress.

    Chapter 8

I never heard anyone say the souls have to be detached from bodies.
  8. Great story, nicely rounded out. Would love to see a Joss story or two. Maybe a mystery interspersed with flashbacks to when Joss and PJ first got together. Thanks for the great read.

    Epilogue

A beautiful ending. This was a great story, thanks so much for writing it for us.
  10. A lovely story about patience and love, art and substance.
  11. Plenty of well written action, mixed with well thought social content. While helpful to read ghe prior story, this one can stand on it's own just fine.
  12. I believe it was mentioned in comments those two would be back, and conservation of characters said they would have something to do with Lyn and his coming out process. So no huge surprise. Fun though, and could have been more explicit. Only Alexander gets the detailed play by plays? The overstimulation mention was interesting. Combined with Lyns tight focus, and tendency to miss obvious social cues from his friends, he is reading as having a little neurological diversity. Mild, but helps explain how he could have missed social cues that look obvious to the readers.
  13. The comment about Lyn not understanding queer tension was right on the nose. Would make a great band name too.

    Chapter 9

Quit making me cry when it's supposed to be funny and light. Sigh

    Chapter 1

A smart guy with a hockey player, where might I have heard that before? In Ottawa Tales the hockey team was played off as just coincidental. Just one of those things that happens. Hmm.
