I'm so sorry they didn't end up together. No matter how I convince myself, I just can't see Dan and Joey back together. But I'm glad Joey let him go as it just proves how much he really loves Dan. It's hard to let go of the people we love. But at least they can work out a friendship now. As for Ced, well, I love Ced. But I didn't manipulate the story so they'd end up together. Even while this story was being conceptualized, Dan and Ced was already 'destined' to be together. But the most I'm glad about this story, is that Lee and Dan still love each other despite the fact that they like the same guy Thanks for reading. This story is special to me as it's the first long story I wrote.

This day should be perfect. Why did I forget his birthday in the first place? Well, no time to worry about that. I shook myself and checked my list for the umpteenth time. Hey John, I think all writers are like that. For the most part, my stories play out in my mind and I just write what's going on. And let me just say that I'm not a native English writer/speaker although I had English subjects from elementary through college. My English got developed from watching a lot of movies and reading of course (I love reading). The funny thing is, I don't think I can write a story in my native language Again, thanks for your help. For your first comment, however, Mich explained this one later on in the chapter. He mentioned that he saw Vern as she was leaving Coop's apartment and he hid himself so as not to be seen. As for your second comment, I'll check the self-help book I bought regarding punctuation. Again, thanks

Well this might sound weird, but I have no control over my stories (well not absolute control anyway). It's like the character just comes to life just before my eyes and I'm just putting in writing what the characters are going through. Whether everyone will be happy (including you) still remains to be seen. What I'm hoping for is that you're enjoying the ride
