  1. well thats just it. You need to make healthy choices all the time. That's the point. start now Yea juice is terrible it even has more sodium then soda does. good point. Lol well Greg running and push ups mixed with crunches and pull ups is a good way to start your plan. Because not every one is as amazing as you are ;] LOL well you can die having sex now So it seems your more apt to drinking soda late at night... HMMMM maybe you need to get to bed early???

  3. Sweet what are your goals? So to speed yup your metabolism you gotta eat in a different pattern. If you eat small portioned meals every 2 hours you'll speed it up. Plus your speed matches your metabolism speed. Add in some extra running sessions and before you know it you'll be running to keep up with your metabolism. how often do you do push ups and pull ups? Add a little extra in and you'll be surprised at what you can gain. The apple will work. You really should eat healthy. Forget eating healthy just take out the bigger of the food sins for now. Pepsi, Candy, and cheese. The pepsi is terrible. I wish you would just take it out of your diet. It will be very easy for you to fall back into old habits unless you kick them. Kick pepsi in the balls and do the right thing.

  5. well if i could tell you anything its the withdraw is worth it. Not everything in life is easy. If it were easy we would all look like swim suit models. Your body isn't going to like what your about to do to it. Wait it out. You'll be glad you did. Don't have to even use a gym. When i was 18 i lost 19 pounds just by doing yoga, crunches, and push ups at my house. You have access to the internet. Youtube a beginners yoga video and do it. Its relaxing and its a great work out. Do it for like ten minutes a day and then add in either crunches or push ups every other day. Have fun with it. Muahahaha now that i know you can work out I am going to suggest you do. Ten minutes a day for five days a week.... that's less then an hour a week. get some cardio in your routine. Get out of your comfort zone. get your pulse rate up and do something. Jump roping. Jumping is good for your core. you use your core muscles to jump. jumping jacks. hmmmmm what else.... when you jump land lightly like a cat. you don't have to go super high i know you said your knees are bad. crunches are easy and do modified push ups. you won't have to do it very long before you feel the work out hitting you. Give yourself ten minutes a day. It will help you with everything else that you do daily.
  6. SO action is required... You have a gym at work so take clothes with you to work that you can work out in. That way you have one less excuse to work out. After that just DO IT!! Go in the room gym and mess with some machines. By all means take it easy. You don't have to Lift 300 pounds your first day. Keeping that in mind do something and have fun. Get an ipod and listen to music while you get your sweat on. Good for you.
  7. I have no idea what kind of fitness restrictions you have but i do know everyone can do something to help themselves change. Do whatever you can. anything from choosing less food to walking around the neighborhood. something is better than nothing. What are the steroids for? If you don't mind me asking. Possibly yoga might be something you could do??? Ok so what are the changes that you will be making? Very cool. Its those last 5 pounds that will kill you so don't Put too much emphasis on the weight lose so much as the life style change.
  8. You don't have to go crazy seriously start with little things. It's more then just changing the way your body looks. It would take 4 hours to write out all the benefits you get from being more health conscious. The way you see yourself changes before the physical change comes. But i agree go take some martial arts classes. They are probably fun and a good workout. Well You have the gym membership so put it to good use. Gyms have so much to offer you. So take advantage of some classes and the weights. Fair enough
  9. Well Coffee isn't bad for you but everything in moderation. Like i said just adding more activities like walking or what ever you can will be good enough. So then no soda for you for the next month. Just by leaving soda out of your life you can lose a few pounds without even trying. Not to mention that soda is terrible for you.
  10. I'm not a health Guru. I am not going to be on the cover of a health and fitness magazine. With that said I would like to bring up the whole issue of fitness. It's all about getting your sweat on Guys and Gals. More over it's about the choices you make in your eating habits. You can change a few things in your day to day routine that will impact you forever. Here is my challenge... Take this next month and start making changes in your diet. for instance abstain from drinking soda (its simple really). Also start exercising more. Just add in a few extra work out routines. Your fitness isn't about just working out. So, don't stress how you work out. The point is you did something extra. Give it a month. You'll thank yourself for it. So this forum post is me being selfish I guess. I want some work out buddies. So join me. This next month I am going to be hitting the gym super hard. Also no more eating out for me or soda. It will be a difficult month but i want to be a healthier me. I owe that to myself and you owe it to yourself. Me as of today

  14. We are often taught to let our hearts lead us. It is a beautiful concept. The draw backs are situations like your friend is going through. You need to be there for her when she is falling apart. That is the only thing you can do. She knows the relationship shes in is not the best. Sooner or later she will do something about it. In the mean time Work on finding a replacement guy for her.
