Noticed the little tidbit about Wendy and what she said- it's statements like that which probably fuel Peter's insecurities concerning finances and all that. Glad to see Jason didn't go through with Ethan, even for a rebound, there's such thing as moving on just a little too fast, not that I expect him to mope about forever. But then, I'm one of the eternal optimists that he'll still end up with Peter, so I'm biased and wouldn't want anything to come between that. And if they don't end up together, here's hoping they're both happy, though weirdly I'd rather Jason end up with someone that's just NOT Ethan and Peter works through his issues and finds someone he's secure with.

Liked that we got a lot into River's personal life. Though the phone call certainly wasn't what I was expecting, I really don't know what I was expecting, but I somehow thought it'd be about Silver. So, basically, River will have to care for two people and with Ben probably means going out more and all that. Should be interesting

As someone who has a bit of jealous genes in his body(not a good trait, I know, but it's not psycho-stalker ex jealoys lol), I can understand River kinda wanting to show Sandi who Silver runs to when he's down. Really selfish, but I can understand. +1 for eagerly awaiting the next chapter

Wonderful writing as usual, I had to have a slight chuckle at River's jealousy., totally normal reaction seeing someone that's been so dependent on you take to someone else.

I hope the last few chapters aren't taking long to write because you're thinking up lots of sinister things

Your way with words and how you describe things is nothing short of beautiful even when you're describing something a bit disturbing or grotesque. Thank heavens you're a girl or you could probably talk the pants off everyone here Enigma I was amazing and one of the best stories I've ever read anywhere online. Can't wait to get sucked into this one.

I agree with what you're saying as I've read some stories that seemed romantic and just veered down the "man-pussy" route, it was kinda cringeworthy and weird. I think it's nice finding the right balance. Personally, I really like a well written, fully described sex scene in a story and it kinda tunes me in with the characters feelings.On the flip side though, I can't be the only ones to have noticed authors who totally shy away from sex scenes of any kind, because they have this mentality it'd kinda "pollute" the softness or romantic side story or something. I find that very strange. It'd be nice if more authors were a bit like Josh on iomfats who wrote a really long story called "Sea Change" or Joel in Alaadin Awakening, both stories had sex or something sexual and were both more than 60 chapters long, but that didn't detract from the plotline or the love the characters had for each other especially in Josh's story.
