Brad has been my favorite character in the CAP series of stories. I think you've done a great job in showing how screwed-up the whole thing with Robbie, plus the business attack, and dealing with his own mid-life crisis has effected him... sexually, emotionally, and mentally. I may not agree with some of the things Brad has done during this period but I can understand why and would not expect all of his actions to be completely rational. Plus it has made for a great story. As for Robbie's Ferrari, I thought it was a great symbol in the story. Brad attacks apart of Robbie's decision to open the relationship and also a symbol of Robbie's mid-life crisis by attacking the Ferrari. Remember before this throughout his relationship with Brad, Robbie had driven a toyota pickup, drastic change within a few days of Robbie wanting to screw around. Plus Robbie standing Brad up for someone else after all these years thus opening old wounds of their High School and college days mixed with alcohol, to me it was just a real cool reaction of how much Brad was hurting. It was as if he was hitting Robbie or at least hurting him, a form of revenge...Great symbolism. As for the kids and their own lives, you were very much on the mark. I noted this when Brad takes Will all the way to Hawaii and Will immediately goes and hangs out with his friend instead of Brad was square on the mark of how a teenager would react. Plus you've pulled the kids back in just enough to let it be known they are wondering what is going on. If Jeanine was the narrator of the story (and I am glad she is not) I'm sure there would be numerous conversations between her and the kids as to what is going on. At the same time that Brad and Robbie are on a rocky road Jeanine has also found a lover after all these years of just being their mom probably also has somewhat complicated the kids situation from a parental stand point. But they all have school, Darius is really into the dating scene, Will has the surf (plus thing with Drew) and JJ has skating. These boys have busy lives to keep their minds occupied. As for this chapter there was alot of good takes from it and I agree the reflection on past charaters as the new millennium starts was great. Cody seems to be a very big recurring person in Robbie and Brad's lives and that causes me concern and the potential issues that he may cause the guys. Grrrrrr. of course this is because Cody is my least favorite character. Now I am ready for the business battle with Brad's wicked step-mother and Brian to start full force. :2hands:

Really good chapter, I thought it brought alot of the story characters together from the family perspective. Not only Brad's interaction with the kids but also Robbie's ( with Darius) and JP's (with Will). In an earlier chapter Brad suggested to Darius he talk with JP about his college plans and in this chapter he gets Will to talk to JP about JP's experience coming out to his Dad. Hoping it can help Will understand what Drew is dealing with. It shows how much Brad still depends on JP with his family and trusts JP to be able to help his sons with their lives. He seems to very much want to get JP involved with his sons for advice. It was also good to get a little more closure on Drew leaving, plus we see a little more development of Jeff's character. Now we can sit on the edge of our seats waiting for the Big New Year's Eve Millennium party.

I also have come to dislike Cody and this chapter just put the nail in the coffin with him for me. After each chapter there is always one big thing that sticks in my mind about that particular chapter. With this one it is Cody. I could list several things that stuck in my crawl with him but a few are: He does not want to mess around with Robbie and Brad he wants a "relationship" with Brad. It isn't just being F*ck buddies. It actually does remind me of the Brian/Matt thing with Cody in Bloodlines. He gets all offended when Brad brings up safe sex. This even after admitting "If I hadn't been rolling, we wouldn't have done it." when talking about him and Kevin being with Brad and Robbie during the fisting/unprotected sex episode when they were all "rolling" after taking E (that Cody had supplied). When he asked Brad if he trusted him Brad should have said NO! Cody obviously, like many people, lets his guard down during sex when high on drugs. A big problem in the gay party scene that Cody is a big part of in Hollywood. Cody should be the last person to trust with safe sex. He goes on to say Kevin got tested but never mentions the idea of himself getting tested. I am really glad Brad and Robbie are back together but they really need to get their heads out of their asses in the sharing the relationship part. Since getting back together they seem to be more careless. Using E and then sharing their most intimate sex act with others and combining it with unprotected sex. Possibly getting the woman that has helped them raise their kids pregnant after all these years and not even seeming to realize that is a possibility. Jumping back and forth with Cody in their relationship. Not evening thinking about how their involvement with other couples may effect those relationships...Jeanine/Tiffany, Kevin/Cody. Their new Love for each other is becoming like careless teenagers that don't think. It will be interesting to see how these decisions come back to them as their teenage sons get more into sex and relationships as examples. I can hear it now "But dad you and Robbie did...."

Chapter 43 was a great read. Interesting how Brad and Robbie talk about Matt and Wade trying to knock up Tiffany, even joke about crying babies, and Robbie talking about being a "Grandpa". But, they never discuss or seem to think they could of gotten Jeanine pregnant and might be daddies again themselves. Could be a real shocker for them if she is.

I agree, and Mark has done a good job bringing this issue into his stories without being "public service announcements". My favorite is from chapter 16 when Brad had a talk with Will and Drew after walking in them blowing each other.

But the number of loads does, That is the point I was trying to make. Jeanine's chances of being pregnant increased by taking 4 loads instead of just one.

It would definitely add a damper to many of the sex scenes. But the chance of becoming HIV positive with all of these "in the moment slip-ups" should not be ignored. Also, Mark should know that this has not gone unnoticed by this loyal readers and fans

Actually if Triffany got breeded by 4 loads as Jeanine did the odds are actually fairly high. And one of Jeanine's was a big high volume, hard blast load by Robbie because Brad had 3 fingers up his ass. Odds of twins or 2 sets of twins much less so unless twins ran in either girls families.

The episode of unprotected sex with Kevin and Cody also involved party drugs furnished by Cody. It is a known fact that the combination of party drugs and sex often lead to unprotected sex. Just as it did this time. Cody is part of the Hollywood party scene of sex and drugs and he would be considered a high risk in anyone's book. With 1 in 6 gay males in the USA believed to be HIV positive, and the multiple "slip-ups" all these guys keep on having "in the heat of the moment", it is hard to believe that in the real world that some of them would not be positive by now or soon. I can agree with your "rant". If Brad and/or Robbie became positive due to Robbie's original decision to end his and Brad's monogamous relationship, I think it would be hard for Robbie to deal with. Even with present drugs and long lifes by HIV positive persons today, I think Robbie would have a hard time not feeling guilty and responsible. A pregnant and HIV positive Triffany or Jeanine would definitely add drama to future storylines. Would the baby also be positive?

You need to re-read the chapter. With all the conversation here about kids, twins, condoms, etc.. (and even though I dislike reading Hetero sex stories and had skipped over the details of that part of the chapter), I went back and read that part. Brad used a condom with Robbie and pulled it off when he became a breeder in the chapter. " I pulled out of him and ripped off the condom. He rolled off of Jeanine and smiled at me, as if to say 'your turn'. I didn't need any encouragement. I lined my dick up with her soaking wet pussy and pushed in, remembering the last time I'd done this and how good it felt then, as good as it felt now. Her eyed bulged as I plunged in and out of her. "............ "Then I came. For some reason, being with the two of them, and being the focus of their attention, just set me off. I yelled, roared, as I blew my load into her ." Then in round 2 there was also no condom for the breeding session: Brad in breeding session round #2: "She lay on top of Robbie, hugging him, while I pushed into her. Triffany cheated with a reluctant (pissed) Jeanine's ok for the purpose of being breeded. Jeanine did not have the same goal as Triffany for cheating nor her ok. Plus Brad and Robbie live with Jeanine in the same house and see's them almost daily. Will Triffany see them now as a treat to her relationship? Matt and Wade live at Escorial and are only occasional visitors, therefore not such a threat to the relationship. What if Jeanine does get pregnant and Triffany does not? What if a pissed off and pregnant Triffany leaves to have the baby (babies) on her own? Very little is known about Triffany. What if she is part of the same plot by Omega that was over looked? Remember Matt was Brian's #1 enemy. What better way than to have his child with no agreements in place to protect Matt? Well only Mark knows at this point !!!! Maybe we will have a full lesbian story in the future (personally hope not). I am glad that Brad's and Robbie's love has grown stronger because with allowing others to be apart of their most intimate connection (fisting) with unprotected sex with others thrown into that session, and now straight sex, it looks like they sure need that strong love now more than ever. Hopefully we will get back to the Gay stuff soon.

I am sure the hetero sex stuff has some bearing in this and future stories but to be honest I just skipped thru that part. I'm sure more kids are on the way but still. For me personally this was not one of the better chapters. It seemed like too much left unsaid with all the drama between JP and Brad, Stef from the past chapters and too much into the hetero theme, especially at Christmas. I have re-read all the stories twice and really enjoy them, much better than any other Gay Authors I have read. The mix of history, gay relationships,their sex lives, strong family bonds, and then the business aspects thrown in just makes for great reading. This story, like all the others, keeps having so many twist and turns it is hard waiting for the next chapter.
