  1. Does that mean I can ask around and see if someone wants to help me?
  2. Thanks for the review! Hopefully in later chapters it will become clearer why the sex needed to be there so soon (and no, there won't be any graphic scenes for a while, you can sit back and enjoy the plot for now on! =D)
  3. Yes, Oscar was yanked out of the closet by Mr. sexy blond guy. =DI have most chapters planned already - so yes, there is more to it. Thanks for the review!
  4. Don't worry, there won't be sex again for a few chapters. I had to put it there, though - it is going to make more sense later.

    Chapter 1

Despite the things that brought about the story, it was kind of hearth-warming. You managed to focus on the "nurturing" and "healing" part of something awful, which makes it a great story. The last scene with Vincent explaining the "making love" was great too. Good fun.
  6. That was a bit long to read in one go, but I eventually managed it. Maybe it would have been better to break it down in smaller chapters, though. It would make reading easier. There seemed to be some odd sentences here and there as well. It sounded weird in some parts, and in others it got a bit repetitive (particularly when describing character's emotions. Some of it was already obvious from their attitude and dialogue, it was not necessary to describe it as well). Overall, though, I liked it. I haven't read anything that came before that, but I might take a look some other day. You got me interested (though it seems a bit to easy and fast from the time they meet Janice).

    Prologue

Most people, at some point, meet someone who brings a complete change to their lives; who turns their world upside down and makes a huge mess. Usually this someone turns out to be their true love, who stays by their side forever and ever. But sometimes this person just vanishes, like they were never there; the only trace of their existence being the trail of destruction and reconstruction they have left behind. I once met someone like that. I was fifteen and my life was relatively easy; I li

But sometimes this person just vanishes, the only trace of their existence being the trail of destruction and reconstruction they have left behind. Oscar met that someone in the school's toilet. This is how it turned out.
  9. They look like they could be one guy doing everything so fast that it looks like there are thousands of him. There is something on quantum physics that can explain that phenomenon, but I forgot what it was. Not that I know loads about quantum physics...
  10. I usually like happy endings, but depending on the type of book I would probably expected there to be no happy ending. (And sometimes the death of the character is actually the happy ending...) If a story is interesting, I tend to want to read it through to the end. Even if there are deaths on the way.
  11. In my case, everyone was kind of expecting me to come out as lesbian... And then I came out as trans. The whole "I'm actually a guy" made my family pretty confused at first (apart from my mother, who knew from very early on and was always extremely supportive). They're slowly getting used to it, though they still mix up pronouns and names (I can't really blame them, though. They knew me for 18 years before I came out). And then I came out as "bisexual, mostly gay" and it was probably too much for their poor brains to process... I think they are still pretty confused, but they all said they love me and if it makes me happy being the way I am then it's ok for them.
  12. Yay, brownie points! I started karate about a year and a half ago, after spending years of my life playing football (soccer) and getting both my knees damaged (I had surgeries and all). It is really fun, though. And useful - learning self-defence helped my fear of "I'm a walking target! I don't want to go out" a lot (I am really short, so much that a little kid tried to mug me once). Anyway, I should stop rambling. I would like as much feedback and criticism as possible. Of course, I need to post something first... (And English is not my first language, thus I probably need extra help on grammar and all that)
  13. Hi there, I found the site by chance and decided to give it a try. My biggest difficulty with writing is that I keep having new ideas for stories and never finish the ones I start. I'm hoping posting the stories here will help me finish stuff as well as start new stories.
