    Scene 63

You might like to know that most of your questions about Lóránt will get some answers in scene 72. We'll definitely get to know more about them and how they landed on the job. Of course, that says nothing about the circumstances in which we learn that information. You have another month or so to try guess!

    Scene 63

I marked this as "sad" because it doesn't feel right to "like" that kind of comment. Yes, I have no mercy for the characters I like. Is there anyone in that story who hasn't got a tragic background? (As of scene 70, this question becomes even more horrible...) Maybe someday we'll get to a point when everybody is happy, getting together and having children who will be spared the tragic pasts of their parents. I mean, the story has to be set in 1995 for a reason, right? Nessa today would be 40 years old. She could even have grandchildren already for all we know... (is it just me who keeps thinking that 1995 was just 10 years ago?)

    Scene 62

Could I really make our heroine lose the very essence of herself, that which made her the heroine in the first place? Dare I do it? (Finally I'm saying something that, as of the time of writing, you have no way of knowing...)

    Scene 61

What does it say about me and the story that, 2 months on, that comment is still so horribly accurate... I missed you too! *goes for the hug*

    Scene 60

I hope your situation gets better soon (or has it already? It has been 3 months...)

    Scene 60

So how much more interesting do I need to make it so that becomes a temptation you cannot resist? Just wondering...

    Scene 59

Nooooooooooo indeed! Why can't they just be happy? Why do I have to screw it up for them? (The answers that fly through my mind include sadism, need to keep the plot going, and ulterior motives that shall be revealed later in the plot, but feel free to include your own too)

    Scene 59

Just because Lóránt didn't give permission, it doesn't mean the demon can't try anything. Lóránt made a gamble, and while it brought the expected result (Unn feeling better), it also brought some unwanted consequences they'll forever regret. Lydia was thinking that Nessa would eventually get her diary back and read through the notes. Or just trying to feel Nessa's presence in any way she could, thus messing with Nessa's things. You seem to have a bit more sense than Lóránt if you can think about talking to "superiors". That said, Lóránt hasn't got a direct boss as such, and even if they did ask for permission, Zhofie's background means nobody in their right mind would allow this. And thus we have Lóránt's moment of Good Job Breaking It, Hero...

    Scene 58

Yay for plotting the right twists! At least neither did Nessa, so you're not alone in that...

    Scene 58

Lóránt was being respectful of Kris's decision to not share information about his life. If he had not told anything to Nessa, then it wouldn't be Lóránt's place to do so. And the plot thickens...

    Scene 69

I missed you too! It's good to be back! (Also I feel like I missed a big opportunity to make some joke with scene 69... not that it would've fit the current plot, but still.) (Maybe I can do that with the Orchestra. It's nearly there...)
  12. James Hiwatari

    Scene 57

Well... some of your wishes were definitely right. Others... not so much. And of course, in case there are people out there who look through comments before hitting "next", I won't point out what's what.
  13. James Hiwatari

    Scene 57

Haha, thanks! I do put some effort into making them enjoyable!

    Scene 56

It's so nice of you to think of Unn while Nessa and Lydia had their great time together... Rest assured that Unn didn't forget about her friends' party time either. There's nothing like imagining how much fun other people are having while you feel absolutely miserable...

    Scene 56

In the spirit of pretending the next scene hasn't already been published by the time I finally got to replying to this... Good guess! Let's see if you're right!
  16. James Hiwatari

    Scene 55

It seems not all demons are bad... Some have taken to be body guards to protect people against their fellow demons... But what does it say about demons as a whole? Are they actually more bad than good, and those body guards are the exception? Or are demons just suffering from a case of bad publicity? What if most demons just live their lives peacefully, but the minority that wages wars as often as they change clothes is so loud, so vocal and so violent that they managed to taint the image of all the demons in the world?

    Scene 54

I really want to write about them all being nice friends hanging out and having fun. Whether that's where the plot is taking us, though...

    Scene 54

Kris is as lovely as the sunshine that sets Enkyo ablaze every day. Or some such. Metaphors, who needs them, right? And who doesn't like grumpy boys who like to wear fancy dresses?

    Chapter 53

Oh no! Quick, go comment on the newest scene before someone else does!

    Chapter 53

What can be better than two teens in love going on a date, right? Can we pretend I'm not taking almost 4 months to reply to this so that it seems like my comment is just an innocent nod the way the story seems to be going?
  21. James Hiwatari

    Scene 52

Ah, friendships... Fast forward some 17 scenes and we can see just where friendship takes you. Of course, whether I mean this in a good or bad way remains to be seen (or it would be one horrible spoiler...)
  22. James Hiwatari

    Scene 52

Thanks! Chapters that reveal just a little bit of a character's background are my favourite to write, so I'm glad you loved it too!
  23. James Hiwatari

    Scene 50

Well, in his defence, he was trying to get them to talk. How much is he an arse and how much is he limited by his vocabulary? (Look at me taking 4 months to answer to this...)
  24. Nessa? Nessa? Are you there? It’s been an hour and you haven’t written anything yet. Did something happen? I haven’t said anything to Lydia so she doesn’t get distracted (though it wouldn’t hurt to stop that dry-arse looping tune), but I’m worried. You jump in to answer even before I’m done writing, but now… You have either gone to sleep or something really bad happened. I wish I could urge Lydia to go faster. Hold tight, Nessa, we’re coming! I must now acknowledge the possibilit
  25. Well, how many violinists called Arnar do we know? *cue villainous evil laughter* In a parallel universe out there Siggi and Gunni are siblings. That's all I'm saying.
