  1. Glad you liked it the conclusion is its way, so hopefully you won't have to wait long. I can't wait to hear what you think.
  2. Hey, thanks for the note. I think what bothers coop the most is that after so many years, chase doesn't care at all. That's why he feels like has to do something. There's a lot to unfold in the second half
  3. He hasn't had sex with him, and that's all I'm teasing. Thanks for the review
  4. Thanks so much, fire walker. Glad you enjoyed the read.
  5. I would have loved to see you make that face
  6. Wait for it. There's still quite a bit more to come in the resolution.
  7. … Forever is Never that Easy From the moment we're born, we think about forever. We spend countless hours wondering what we want to do for the rest of our lives, who we want to spend it with. The idea of forever is one that fills our minds at an early age and stays there... forever. And as I neared the place that could comfortably be my forever, I realized that forever rarely ever comes without a price. “What do you mean he’s disappeared?” “I m
  8. Hey! Thanks for the review. Like I've said before, spencer and cooper are the real deal relationship here. Glad you liked their interaction. Also, I promise I'm not stalking you or your mate. As for Devon, I didn't think what she did was super surprising, but alas. I could be wrong. More to come soon
  9. Hey Lisa. Yay. Glad you liked the chapter. And I'm super glad you agreed with dev's decision. I wasn't quite sure that would read. Also, that cheerleader line... Did you sneaks peak at the next draft? Nothing significant, but there is a line in it... Hmmm. Morgan's fate comes to light in a big way next chapter... Thanks so much for the review.
  10. Hey, thanks for the review! I can't take full credit for choking the chicken. I stole it from some movie or another. We're definitely nearing the end, so stay tuned
  11. I think you're right not to trust Morgan, but Devon's heart is in the right place on this one. I think at the heart of it, she knows what's right and she just wants to accomplish what's best for her family. Thanks so much for the review!
  12. Thanks so much for the kudos. Glad you enjoyed the chapter. I've always had a special place for Cooper and Spencer's relationship. Even when they shouldn't get along, they find their way back. More to come on the Morgan/Chase development Thanks again.
  13. Glad you enjoyed the chapter! Thanks so much for the review. What Chase does next is the big question, and I'm not teasing anything... suffice it to say, I hope it's a surprise
  14. Glad you enjoyed it. The hunt for the big bad Morgan to commence. Or will it?
  15. I'm glad you liked the chapter. I've never had anything called gold before I actually wrote that Devon/Cooper flashback chapters ago, but I kept pushing it. I hope it worked better in this situation. As for Chase, I think he's doing a good job too. Watch for him to do even better, in my opinion. More to come soon, including Kyle
  16. … I Never Thought it Could End That Way As humans, we process tens of thousands of decisions a day. Some are trivial; what to eat for breakfast, which route to take to work, whether or not to call your mother. Others are more substantial and require much more care and thought. When making those decisions, we see an end to our choices. We way the final destinations, and make our decisions based on which outcome would be best. I had made a ton of bad decisions up to that point, re
  17. Wow. Thanks for another solid review. I really do enjoy reading your take. I won't hit on everything you wrote, but I'll try. I agree that it was time for Cooper to stand on his own and make some moves- albeit controversial, but I had him do what I thought he'd reasonably do. He had no clue what he was going to find at Morgan's but he did need to see for himself. Also, I picked Granbury for a rehab clinic precisely because there IS NOTHING going on in that town, aside from a certain bookstore frequented by Fort Worth's elite. I've never considered moving Coop out of Dallas, simply because I think he's married to the city in a way. Remember, he's a small town boy who moved to the city and never looked back (except once). I've left his family out for a reason. And, yes, I truly do think Youtube is here for the long haul. LOL. That, and where else would kids post movies? I can't always imagine that far. And I guess you're right about the school secretary situation. But in her defense, when Coop comes around, its mostly after school and he'd just circle the drop off. Until next time
  18. Hey Lisa. I was starting to think I'd have to hunt you down instead of vice versa. Glad you thought the chapter was good, despite the harsh ending. I think what's different about a serialized story is that you have to wait a whole week, sometimes more, for any resolution. It comes fairly quick in the next chapter, though. As does more on Morgan. I think his suggestion to Chase was more of a way to show support. It was easy for me to have Chase say no because I didn't even think Coop thought he'd agree to it. I won't tease anything about CJ. You'll just have to wait and read what happens there...
  19. You're welcome, and thanks for your response. The dawn is coming soon, I promise. In fact, I'm sending portions of the dawn to my editors as we speak.
  20. Thanks for the review! I wouldn't be too harsh on Devon and Liz just yet. Remember the length of time in these last couple chapters isn't that long. More to come soon, but I promise things take a turn.
  21. Hey Conner. Thanks so much for the note. I agree about copper trusting Chase more. They have a cute scene in the next chapter. Until then, thanks again!
  22. Thanks so much. I won't put you through much more, promise!
  23. Thanks so much! I was waiting to see a reaction to the morgan thing. To me, that was the meat the chapter in terms of trying to do the right thing. More to come soon.
  24. I know exactly what you mean. I won't tease much, but I will say things take a turn... At least partially.
  25. You've heard the adage, I'm sure. The night is darkest before the dawn... Well that definitely applies here.
