I loved this review. You have a way of making me want to go back and retread wha I've written. Love the idea of you giving Corbin fatherly advice I'm glad you find the situation relatable, if nothing else, that's the most moorland thing. And oh, to be a fl on that wall...

I think you're spot on with these two! If the frustration s building, then I'm doing it right the roller coaster comes because you like the characters, and I'm glad you do. More to come...

Lol. So I'm gathering that the back and forth is starting to frustrate you?. I love how you're protective of Corbin. We'll see if that lasts. On to the next

Wow, Louis. Thanks for the compliment. Tanks for the compliment. I'm taking the characterization of this story really seriously, so I'm lad you're responding to that. I think Corbin s a typical kid with more options than he has brain power... But he starts to sort through it soon, I think. Wait and see...

Lol... Speaking of games between these two, you haven't seen anything yet. Trust me 3)

    Never Have I Ever

Hey Carrie! Thanks for the awesome review. The next chapter is titled Hurricane Dakota, so I assure, she's a catalyst for something... I hope you dig what's around the corner. And a show would be awesome to write... O you know anyone at hbo? Lol!

    Never Have I Ever

Hey clock! Very astute observations, and I hope I address all of them sufficiently. I definitely agree that Corbin is psyching himself out. Having lived through it, I can appreciate Corbin's sense of anxiety over what Pete says and what Corbin thinks Pete means. However, the Pete is a big ball of contradiction and that can't be ignored. As for Corbin's talk with Hitch, I agree with you 100 percent. He doesn't see how difficult it was for him to come out, and yet he expects Pete to, if he is in fact gay that is. One thing I find funny is that in my life, it was always harder to come out to my friends and family that I knew cared about me than to come out to a complete stranger or acquaintance. I definitely think Pete and Corbin have passed that threshold where the conversation, were it to happen, would be really awkward. Until next week.

    Never Have I Ever

Hey Joann! Thanks for the review. I'm sensing a little antipication from you. Have no fear, Corbin channels his nerves like a real pro in the next chapter. Doesn't mean all is rosy, but I guess that's all I'll tease for now. Thans again

Hey Semaj! I thought I responded to this a while back, but I guess it never went through. Thanks again for an awesome review. I respect your thoughts on BHB, mostly because I share the same sentiment. I do think the story had potential, and hopefully I'll get the inspiration to rework some of it. I'm glad you love Pete... he's a good guy and I'm glad it's coming through why Corbin would like him so much (that's been my biggest anxiety with writing a full on romance...). As for Corbs, I think you're right about him being flawed, but for me that's the fun in writing a well-defined character. He has his flaws, but at the end of the day, he's a romantic and very charming... I hope you'll keep following along
  11. “So she’s his girlfriend?” Roberto asked me the next morning. I’d woken up early, showered, gotten some much needed coffee from Ground Zero and set up shop in the Chi Beta library to get some studying done. Roberto walked in, surprised to see me up and working before noon, and decided to interrupt my progress with questions about my night. “No, she’s not,” I said. “He says she’s not. But who drives three hours to visit someone for no reason? She’s in love with him.”

Hey Lisa! Another awesome review (I swear they keep getting longer! I love it ) you're right about Corbin jumping to conclusions. But isn't that what makes things like this fun? No worries, though... All will be revealed next chapter. And expect Dakota to be a force of change for these two boys. Also, as you'd expect, Corbin draws a pretty distinct line in the sand with Lee... They'll both know where they stand with each other very soon (and so will chi beta... Dun dun dun) I'm glad your still enjoying yourself. Six days... You and Carrie should start a support system.

    Scent of a Woman

I'm really not sure. I haven't touched this one in forever, and to be honest, I'd want to go in and rework some of the early chapters. Also, you know I have m hands full at the moment

Hey! Thanks so much for reading the story and leaving a review. Much appreciated. I'm sorry you found the characters shallow and lacking. To be honest, there are several reasons I didn't continue with that story, and characterization early on is definitely one of them. I think I'd have to do some sort of overhaul if I wanted to continue with the tale, but I did think it had some entertaining moments and potential. I'm glad you're digging the enlgish year. I'd loe to hear your thoughts on that one at some point. Take care!

Thanks for the review Carrie! I'm glad you enjoyed the chapter. I wouldn't worry too much about David... I won't spoil anything of course, I'll just say that. Things move forward for Corbin/Lee and Corbin/Pete in a big way next week, so until then...

I think you hit on something brilliant that I've been trying to portray. In fact, I might have to steal some of your words. I think part of the reason Pete confounds Corbin so much is that he IS usually so self assured and this Pete character is forcing him to second guess everything. Don't worry, I think the next couple of decisions Corbin makes paint him in a mature light... here's to hoping at least.

Thanks Conner! I'm always a little wary about how much of the Greek stuff to put in each chapter. I'm glad you're still finding it interesting because there's a little bit more social business for Corbin to sort through. Until then...

Thanks so much for the review! I'm really glad that you're all twisted, confused, and eager for the next chapter. This isn't intended to be any sort of mystery, but an honest portrayal of these two guys' relationship. I think one key line to support your theory is "'Hey Corbin. You're just as cute as Pete said you are...'" Expect answers in the next chapter, but as usual... I hope they surprise you I think it's time for a new shirt (or no shirt... that's an option too...) How about a Corter shirt? Or Petin...?

Hey Kryshim! Thanks so much for the review. The next chapter is really upbeat, and Dakota's effect on our two boys is hopefully surprising... that's all I'll tease for now I can't wait to hear what you think next week.

“Hey, Corbin. Have a seat,” Dom said. His New York Russian town lisp came out much stronger when he was pissed, and I could tell he was pissed. I took a seat. “Care to tell me why I just spent the last hour talking down a fuming Bridgette Waters?” “If you talked to her for an hour, then I’m sure you know as well as I do.” “I want to hear your side of everything.” “My side of what, Dom?” I raised my voice. I shifted defiantly.

Another spot on analysis. You're on a roll The side story about social standing definitely comes in to play as the chapters progress. We find out very soon why Corbin is so driven by social standing. The reason isn't meant to win him any sympathy... you know I'm okay having less than perfect leading men... What's funny about Lee, Corbin, Mikey and to an extent Pete is that none are perfect. Lee is slime, but like you said, he's mimicking something Corbin would do (possibly). Are any of them better off or worse than the other aside from varying degrees? Debatable... more for me to think about, I guess

I'm not sure how I feel about a constipation metaphor for a relationship... still wrapping my mind around that one I've never thought about it in the terms you just presented though (in the second paragraph). There is a piece that each guy provides Corbin. I know how the story goes, but I wonder how intimacy, passion, and friendship are going to play out... thanks for giving the author something to think about

I think you're right on a couple of points, but I also don't think it's ever that easy. Sure, Corbin is missing out for now, but he'd rather be sure than jump the gun. It's a tough call, but I hope it makes for a good story.
