    There Will Be Blood

Thanks canuk! No worries, it's not based on experience. Just pure imagination.

    There Will Be Blood

They'll certainly try thanks for the note.

    Iron Man

    Wow. Thanks Michael!
  5. Big Haired Bitches: There Will Be Blood “Her name is Summer Smithson,” Taylor said in a shaky voice. “Of course it is,” I replied. Summer Smithson. It sounded so… elitist. We don’t need to give our daughter a reasonable name. We have assloads of money. “What’s so significant about her?” Steven asked. “Were you not there? Was I the only one there?” I asked him, taking a huge bite out of my pizza and chewing like a cow on bale day. After our midnight ca
  6. I'm glad you're back too! i really do look forward to your reviews every week I don't know what I can say about Devon except that we all know divorce makes people straight up crazy. I'm not saying what she's doing is wrong... she may very well feel justified, but we'll never understand her the way we do Cooper, so it's sort of unfair to speculate. I do agree, though, she's not winning any friends with these decisions. Kyle and Cooper have a really honest moment in the next chapter that sort of foreshadows how they're relationship eventually winds up. They're much too close to stop seeing each other regularly, and their respective partners, whoever they end up being, will have to deal with that. More to come really soon
  7. Glad you're safe and back with us! So many questions... some of which will be answered RIGHT off the bat next chapter... and some of which will stew for a while. Hint: you haven't seen the last of Sydney Yuki, that's for sure. Thanks for the compliment:)
  8. Thanks so much! Glad your enjoying the story so far. I don't know what to tell you about Cooper/Kyle... but I'll add another name next to the #TeamKyle list! Thanks for such an awesome review. New chapters come out every Friday, so definitely check back. I look forward to hearing what you think as the story continues
  9. Thanks! I appreciate the note. I'm glad the story is hooking... I think someone called it crack earlier. I feel like such a dealer. Lol. Definitely more twists to come soon.
  10. Hey Louis, Thanks so much for such a great review. Thorough and specific. I couldn't ask for anything more. I hear you on the "just" situation. I remember you getting onto me about it when we worked on Nowhere Man. It's one of those habits that won't die! I'll work on it though. Just give me some time Can't wait to see what you think about Devon's maternal instinct in a couple of chapters Thanks again.
  11. Hey, thanks for reading, and big thanks for the note. There's a lot of boiling room, so I'm curious which side of he fence you fall. Just know it's not all straight forward.
  12. I guess I'm getting pretty good at bitchy, quirky, and surprising. Not sure what that says about me...
  13. Thanks for the compliment
  14. Thanks! Glad you dug the chapter! I can't promise I'll stop the cliffhangers, but that comes with the tale, no? More to come soon
  15. Glad you enjoyed it Conner. Trust me, I want Coop to be happy, too. But, like most of my stories, it's not the simplest road. And when you can't be happy, why not get a drink and fake it?
  16. Wow, thanks so much for the complements. For whatever reason, I'm being mistaken for a good writer, but I'll definitely take it. Glad you are still enjoying the story. More to come soon
  17. The Funny Thing Is… Some Things Are Just Never What They Seem. There are certain things in life that are straight forward. You can take these things at face value and they never really surprise you. You will pay taxes. You will gain a few pounds during the holidays. You will turn into your parents as you age. Most of life’s normalities are exactly what they seem. But then, every once in a while, life throws you a major curveball. Just as things were beginning to resemble what they seem
  18. I'm going to go out on a limb here and say one or more people participating in this thread need to get laid this weekend. Bonus points if it's by a "straight" guy".
  19. Yessir. And there's a shift coming. Stay tuned.
  20. Thanks for the note, Conner. I like Steven too... can you tell. He's going to prove to be an astute side kick, even if he does mostly keep his hands clean. But I will tease that when push comes to shove... he and Taylor don't always see eye to eye... More soon.
  21. He's starting to enjoy himself a little bit. I think being involved intrigues him even if he's not necessarily that kind of person. Thanks for the review!
  22. You'll know ever soon, love.
  23. The night before my first day back at school wasn’t unlike the night before my first day at Summit Hill, almost two months before. It felt like a lifetime, but I still remembered the feeling of fear mixed with anxiety and excitement. It was like being a poor kid on Christmas Eve. What was under the tree could truly be an amazing gift that had stretched your parent’s wallet to the max, but they bought that bike because they loved you… or it could be something god awful like a used paint set with
  24. Thanks for the review As usual, you're right on the money about Kyle and his feelings, only, I wouldn't expect it to be that simple or easy. Twists and turns abound! I'm glad you enjoyed the Devon scene. I'm trying to do right by that story line (with the awesome help of my editors/betas of course). I remember being scared shitless of my dad growing up that I would fake it as well as possible in front of him (dropping some ma'ams in there included). Thanks for the eagle eye on heels! More to come.
