There is one more Quarry site out there folks, but this one has nothing to do with Driver. However the stories are about abuse of children and how they receive help. this author has put a lot of work into his stories and I think a lot of folks are missing them. They really are worth a read. Ted Louis has spent a tremendous amount of time building the web site (Author of Joel) and does the editing for these stories. This is a situation that 15 y/o Louis Albert Morgan faces. It takes him on a very interesting trek. Author and Mailcrew's discreption of the story: We wrote to Drake to discuss an introduction for his new story. We sent him our version, and he sent us his version. Story introduction through the eyes of us teens of The Mail Crew: "Mr. Drake Hunter has granted us the privilege of publishing his latest story. As we read the draft of it, the tale took us on a trip that was fun, sometimes hilarious, and made us stop several times along the way to think about how different our world and lives would be if we could just see past a lot of society's nonsense and our own nonsense. It's science fiction at its best, and it makes us wish it could happen to us." Story introduction through the author's eyes: "The world we live in is at times difficult to see because we are immersed in it. That which is right before our eyes can be missed entirely since we are used to witnessing it every day. As living, thinking creatures, we are often compelled to look into ourselves to view what is outside of us. The perspective is unique to each individual. What if we were given the chance to see how the outside world views us? What if we were handed the opportunity to examine our lives from an outsider's perspective? What if the outsider was not outside? Sometimes the journeys inward and outward are one and the same. Sometimes we need to look at everything through different eyes. What an article DK, How anyone could buy into that hogwash. Any one with an iota of sense would not buy into that. It just shows you that folks with a cause will grasp at anything. Quite a number of the folks in my neighbor hood are retired from unions. It constanly amazes me that if they union says it is so, then that is all there is to it. Go away for a couple of months and look what happens. I can not belive how much the board has grown. We even added dkstories and Eric case as hosted authors. Great work Myr. Things are really looking good. One thing I am a bit sad about is that after being away for a little over two months I am still the second highest poster. But I do see that BM is catching up and if eric keeps posting like he has been, he will pass me rather soon too. Well anyway, I had several problems over the last couple of months inculding too many hours at work, homopobic renters, and computer crashes. But that seems to be taken care of now. Now it is time to get back to the stories I love so much. Boy do I have some catching up to do.

I just can not belive how far I have gotten behind in my reading while I was gone. One thing about it, my free time is full for the forseeable future. I still have most of plan B to read and then to catch up on Dan's new story and Bill watts and Myr's work. Not to metion all the others stories I use to follow Mountain Magic Silent Violin Aladdins Awakening Those Golden Eyes (oops not a teen story) Hack escape just to metion a few. Then there is all those new ones to check out also. I agree with you all. Driver has a very special gift of writing. I was very upset when he quit posting his stories. I am so thankful for the new site.

I love them all, but fantasy is my favorite.

Yes it is Myr! Not too sure how I feel about the new person who showed up though.

Well finally about 10 I downloaded MiRC and gave that route a shot! By the way, I am not a aol user, the only thing I have of theirs is AIM and I am not using that now. Switched over to msn messenger "sparhawk_3@hotmail.com". Any way I tried MiRC and it worked just fine. There were even several folks still chatting and I got to chat with them for a couple of hours. I am going to look into trillian now.

Well I have been trying to get to it and keep getting a 404 error, I know it does not start for onther 10 minutes yet. I will try again then.

I started with beer this afternoon and swichted to whiskey about six this evening, and yep I am feeling it. I can not say I am sober. Designated Driver, Nope not me this evening. I am not going anywhere expect to my bed and it is looking better by the minute.
