I absolutly love this story. It is one of my now faverates here or anywhere. I very much look forwards to reading more of your work. Have to admit that after the police raid you started to lose me but you gave it a very appropriate ending. Very impressed that you did not bring niki into the story more like many would have been tempted to and that River rarly talkd about it even later on says a lot about him. My one tangable complant i only realise in retrospect that the world seems to lean gay, but i would want my world like that anyway. You did a great job describing how someone realy is after such an experience and for that i thank you, it realy made the story great.

It is hard not to belive in love at first sight when you fall in love everyday.

Having been at elite private schools i know the type, it usualy comes down to their perspective on life. They simply have been raised to beilve that they are only as good as their slot in life. Talk to him about his end goal, what it will really talk to acomplish it and how once he is there how much will what he has gone through matter. You can take a lot of wind out of his braging about test scores subtly by mentioning how he worked really hard for them and they helped get him here but now they dont matter.

I just read that enire story and I do not know if I can thank you enough for recomending it. My best friend since birth(literally we were born on the same day) and love of my life died earlier this year. I have not been able to cry since but this story made me shead a few tears. That crushing moment when there is no next chapter. I love your writings, some personality querks carry over too much between families and a few people but that is a minor thing that most writers do. The way you portray action is really superb something you dont see often on this site. Best of luck and may the muses guide you to a wonderful continuance.
