What a fine and endearing story. The depth of knowledge of Navajo places like Window Rock fashioned together with a adept feel for the emotions of a boy growing up in tough situations is evident in this wonderful story. Understanding the many different feelings of mothers and sons as well as lovers and lifemates make this such a good story. Thank you for this and especially for the tenderly warm ending. Will we find how Stephen's life unfolds in another story? Thanks again for all your efforts in bringing Palouse to us.

Hi, I really like this story, especially how you have taken the time to develop Cole's character and led us all to the discovery of Jared's deafness. Cole is such a sweet hot tough guy. Billy needs to level with Trace at least to share that he is gay. Trace would accept that and I don't think he would reject him or end his friendship. He might find out more than he could imagine. Trace could have a bit of a queer streak in him. I wish I knew someone like Trace, I would love to have him for a friend. Billy needs to talk to his dad before its too late. His dad has not really reached out to Billy very much for someone who talks about Billy so much. Sounds like AJ has some really hot prospects. Sunday was a really good chapter. I am glad Sam is still in the running even if he does keep hanging on the girls - I think he is still masking those primal feelings he has been denying for Billy. Hope something comes from that. I am glad Trace is finding his way into the story. The mention of that super cute Mikey was the first in forever. I miss him. Maybe Trace is the one, but so far all tease and nothing to show. I am glad Ian and Bobby are also getting back int things. How long before we find out what happened between them? The lines, "The hormones are always buzzing, but the heart strings can only ne pulled by a certain few. And even fewer can play a tune worth hearing over and over again," are brilliant! These few words capture the distinction between an friendship and a true love perfectly. There is so much insight in those two sentences. Thanks for sharing those gems. What about Jimmy? Thank goodness Joel had the opportunity to talk to Ryan. Even Ryan's desire to trust can be used against him by people who are willing to lie and deceive with no concern about people's feelings and rights.
