what should matter and what does matter seems to have very little relevance on the law.

  10. A story about an old twelve gauge double barrel with a cracked stock that kicks like hell, and several generations of the Sanderson family, ending with young Ty.
  11. Sitting above the mantel piece, wedged on a couple of rusty nails in the cream stud wall, is a slightly rusty, double barrelled twelve gauge shotgun. The walnut stock has been well loved, oiled and rubbed down, but it’s cracked anyway from some collision or other way back when. The gun looks like history, like something that polished up and clean of rust, would be worth a lot of money. But to me, it’s worth way more than anyone could ever pay, because that’s my great-granddaddy’s gun. * The Se

  13. an ASMR person on youtube the other day got me thinking. with any massive fictious "universe" is it ever possible for anyone expect the author (and sometimes not even them) to know everything about it which lies in the public domain? The thing is question was Star Wars, a franchise i know and care very little about, but i thought the conversation was interesting. another good example would be The Discworld perhaps (on which i recently won a bet, i don't know everything, but i know more than my brother-in-law). As an example, my friend Tim knows an awful lot about an awful lot, including the history of film and cinema. he told me that there was in fact an almost totally different story to line much of the three original Star Wars movies. but then George Lucas's wife left him and so Princess Leah had to be all downtrodden and whatever the hell else (hence the slavery and famous golden bikini). not many people know this, including people who know lots about Star Wars. Apparently there are, and he has seen, original story boards and bits of script for these plot lines that never actually happened. So, is it possible for anyone to know everything there is to know about a "franchise" for a better word?
  14. i like that the forum posts display our number of forum posts. i think it's helpful. lets you know who posts lot and will therefore have the answers to all life it's questions like "how do i do that thing with the spoiler code again?" or apart from last post wins what in the purpose of this smiley?

  19. Krilla was up before dawn, half dressed and rumpled looking. He cleared the boat and galley and finally went back on land around the time the sun started to come up. The market stalls were setting up by the time he reached the main street. Aziz was sitting by the foot of the great stone ‘King’s Tomb’ a twelve foot high relic from the Lycian era. He was smoking long thin brown cigars, and practicing blowing smoke rings. “Morning!” “Oh damn Krilla, why are you up this early?” “Supplies. You?” K

Caleb folded his arms on the top rail of the corral and smiled as he watched the boy who he was coming to think of as being family. It made absolutely no sense whenever he stopped to think about it. Rhydian had turned up in their lives three weeks ago, and somehow that shy, quiet, needy little boy who couldn’t ride and had no idea how to speak to a horse and actually listen had blossomed into a smart, capable, talented young man. The easy smile was impossible to miss, as had been the kiss swolle
