The rust coloured dust swirls up in a cloud around them as Shiro pulls up on his throttle and allows his hoverbike to come to an idle halt beside Keith’s. They are still airborne, and Keith has one foot tapping on the accelerator – the engine revving over and over like the purr of an enormous robotic cat – as he digs around in his jacket pocket for the map. Keith does not want to wait until after his boyfriend gets back from Kerberos to have sex for the first time, but neither of them want to try and sneak a quickie in at the Garrison where they are continually watched, interrupted, and their schedules pull them away from each other. But Keith knows a place out in the desert, and with a little preparation, Shiro is going to make the cabin perfect for the boy he loves.

I'm really glad (and a little bit sad) it resonated with you. thanks dugh, glad to be back! generally you don't need any knowledge of Voltron to understand my fanfiction - there are a couple of exceptions, but I prefer writing AUs and playing with the characters in my head. much much more to come

Shiro holds the door open with his shoulder, and uses a smirk to cover for the fact he’d quite like to groan too. He might have won this round, but Keith’s getting better, faster, and stronger. Each hit he lands during their sparring bouts hurt far more than Shiro will ever let on. Keith rolls his head, working his neck, and Shiro frowns. “It aches?” “It’s fine.” Keith drops his shoulders, and then his fierce expression. “That last pin was maybe a bit hard. I’ll be fine after a shower.”

After a morning of hard sparring with his best friend, Shiro is looking forward to a shower. But he's forgotten his shampoo, and Keith's price to borrow his, is that Shiro let's him wash his hair. Hopefully no one else will want to use the showers...

if you choose to watch the new version, skip s8, it ruined the rest of the show. also, GA doesn't have a section when you post fanfiction where you can say what fandom it is (unless it's one of the big 6 they have listed). i need to put it in story note next time
