I’ve heard of it. Boyfriend watches all the DC shows. I’m more of a Marvel guy myself, but I do want to watch Supergirl. I’ve heard great things.
-
Wish you were. Would make it much less daunting, lol!
-
I’m just gonna say it. Gonna use it as a lead-in to the song I’m singing, which is called I’ve No More Fucks To Give. I shared it in the your current song thread in the lounge the other day. Cause that’s how I feel about people who question whether what I am is even a thing. Besides, easier to come out once than to correct fifty people who misgender me. Also asked the presenters not to use female pronouns for me.
-
Dinner time! And I’m performing at open mic tonight. Gonna come out as trans to a room full of old folk singers. So that’ll be interesting.
-
Yeah, me too. I’m always slow with these things, lol!
-
Obviously, I immediately thought of you. Once I got it. Took me a minute cause I wasn’t expecting it, lol!
-
You’re wrong. I’m hilarious.
-
I found this... Thought I’d share.

They don’t. That’s why you have the book.

Can't Lose for Winning
Thorn Wilde commented on Thorn Wilde's story chapter in Can't Lose for Winning
It’s true. The sexual orientation rate is about the same as among people with normal adult sexual attraction. The idea that gay men are paedophiles has exactly no basis in reality. You might as well say that straight men are. Of course, to some, gender is irrelevant; it’s the age, not the gender. Either way, it’s awful. Things do get better all the time, thankfully. Hopefully, Stephen’s next coming out will be better. Thanks for commenting! -
Morning, DiC. Breakfast closes at ten so if I want food I have to be up by a quarter to at the latest... What a cruel fate! Sigh... Being stabbed would contribute to a marginally less productive study environment, it’s true. Sorry to hear your daughter’s sick. Ear infections are terrible! Hope she recovers quickly.
-
Hey, renee. Hope you’re well, too. Thank you. Gonna go to sleep now. Can barely keep my eyes open. Goodnight, DiC! See you all tomorrow!
-
Your emoji game is on point, though.
-
Thank you. Enjoy your dinner.

That’s creepy af... I’ve gone to bed early. Just really tired. Part travel sickness meds, part all the travel anxiety I had earlier, probably. Also, I haven’t got my landlegs back properly yet, lol! Feel like the floor’s rocking, and I haven’t had a drop of alcohol. I’ve read a comic book. Now I think I’ll probably watch something on Netflix. Good WiFi here. Hope you’re all well!
-
That sounds awesome. Definitely gonna check those out.
-
The place I’m at is much nicer than the ferry ride to get there.
-
It’s a ferry. 3.5 hours. Can get stormy this time of year, hence the potential seasickness...
-
So, we crossed Kattegat safely, and thanks to travel sickness medication and slightly less wind than the forecast indicated, I did not throw up! Hurray!
-
That’s amazing. Read that to my parents. They laughed.
-
Yeah, I know. Maybe one day.
-
Yeah, that sounds kind of hopeless.
-
That kind of thing seems so distant to me... My parents were never married. My mum and my stepdad have been married for sixteen years, on the day actually. My grandparents were married for a loooong time, but their relationship was always a bit... different. They had kind of an odd dynamic. I’ve never even thought far enough ahead for marriage... I mean, I fantasised when I was younger, of course. I guess I thought I’d probably marry my ex-boyfriend... But now, with my whole gender identity thing and everything else I’m just like, will I even be a bride or a groom? Lol!
-
Yeah. My longest relationship was six and a half years. That one I think was kind of the opposite... At least for him, I think.
-
I can imagine. It sounds like very rewarding work. You as well.
