Hope those things help.

The angry react is for the lack of proper ploughing. Here they plough the street like twice a day when it snows like it has been, and then they often plough the pavement as well if it's needed so people can get around on foot. Oslo is very focused on pedestrians and public transport; there are whole areas in the city centre where cars aren't even allowed, except for deliveries to shops and for people with disabilities. So that definitely helps.

Good morning, everyone. I’m sorry you got worse again, tim. Going to D&D last night didn’t do me much good either. My bus home leaves every half hour and I missed one, and the next was a bit late, so I ended up standing outside for nearly half an hour at 11 at night yesterday. Not as bad as you, but still not great. At least it had stopped snowing. Don’t know exactly how much we got, but it’s deep out there. Today is -13C and sunny.

csr January CSR Discussion Day: Fun with FanFiction by Laura S. Fox

Well, I loved the story, and it made me read 19 Days, and now I'm slightly upset because I want MORE!!! But so it is with all the comics I read online, so... There is also something called a fudanshi. These are straight guys who like yaoi and/or BL stories and manga. I found a manga a while back called The High School Life of a Fudanshi which is really funny. There's also an anime I haven't watched yet. It's on Crunchyroll, but it looks like the episodes are really short. -
Ooh, love The Expanse! Have fun. Say hi.

Glad it helped! Thought it might. Sucks that your brother's flight got cancelled. I was stuck in London for three days in 2011, going home from uni for Christmas, because there was this big snowy weather and they closed down Heathrow. Gatwick closed too, and all the Eurostar trains were full up so I couldn't get a flight from, like, Paris or anything either. At least British Airways gave me a hotel voucher, so I got a couple of days to do some Christmas shopping instead. My boyfriend at the time spent hours in online chats with various airlines and finally got me a flight home with Scandinavian Airlines instead.

Good advice.

That's awful. I'm so sorry that happened to you, it really sucks. And I hope you manage to get warm. Like Mac said, hot showers are the thing, always works for me when I'm cold, and this house is a little draughty so that's, like, half the winter... Also wool, if you have it.

Oh yeah, it isn't over yet. I'm the sort to really put my characters through the wringer, I guess.

It's not been easy for him, no. Thanks for commenting!

Sounds like a good idea, Reader. Hope you make it home quickly, tim. Stay safe!

Yup. It’s snowed for over two days straight here. We’ve got about half a metre of it outside now... Finally stopped, though. Hello, DiC! How is everyone today? I went to D&D like I said I would, but not sure it was the best idea... Not feeling great now.

Have you watched the new one on Netflix? Bill Nye Saves the World? It is amazing. He did a whole episode in season one on gender and sexuality that I seriously loved.

I watched a documentary on these kids years ago. Another thing that’s sad (though not surprising) is that so many of them are people of colour. Breaks my heart that even little kids aren’t safe from institutionalised racism. Meanwhile, many white people still deny it’s even a thing, discrediting the lived experiences of people of colour as well as the statistics that prove them. Heh, I feel I have the right to get political in the comments to my own stories. Hope the mods agree, lol!

Good morning, DiC! It’s still snowing. That’s well over 24 hours. No idea how much snow we’ve had, but you step outside it goes to well above your knee now. Haven’t had this kind of snow in years. That’s beautiful, tim. What a lovely story! And those paintings are really nice. What an idea to have... I feel like the guy gives himself to little credit. He came up with it, ha handed the horse the paintbrush, and he selects the colours. It’s a collaboration.

Feeling a little bit anxious tonight. Time for bed and boyfriend snuggles. Goodnight, DiC.

Noooo, never stop, tim!

Happy tomorrow birthday, sean! Enjoy your dinner.
-
Sorry to hear that.

A little bit better, thank you. Not feverish like yesterday, thankfully. And I have decided that no matter how I'm feeling tomorrow I'm still playing D&D.
-
Hi, Mac. How are you?
-
Headaches suck, I get them too. Hope it goes away entirely!

There’s a hammock out in the garden. It is now almost entirely submerged in snow. It’s been coming down in droves all day. We haven’t had this much snow at once in ages... It’s insane. Be kind to yourself, A. You’ll do better next time.
