I think so too. He gets a lot of flack, but he’s so not a bad guy. He’s just... human.

I have bipolar II disorder. It's true that my depressive episodes often happen in late autumn/winter, but it's a pretty airtight diagnosis given my hypomania. I also get depressive episodes at other times of year sometimes. All in all I tend to have about 3 to 4 depressive or hypomanic episodes per year (sometimes only 2, if I'm lucky; they've become more frequent, though). Hypomania tends to happen in spring, mid-late summer, and/or autumn, but sometimes my autumn episode can be depression as well. Plus mixed episodes. Ugh, hate those, they're exhausting. But yeah, season is only a part of it insofar as I have a relatively steady cycle. My medication really helps, or I'd probably be a lot more depressed right now than I am.

How to Cure Performance Anxiety – A Short Guide
Thorn Wilde commented on Laura S. Fox's story chapter in How to Cure Performance Anxiety – A Short Guide
OMG, so sweet! And so hot! I just can't with these boys, seriously. -
"Funny how people called their conscience a little voice. It wasn’t really a voice. It was just a weird game of tennis which people played on both ends." So good!

Good morning, DiC! It's sunny outside today. I've already missed half of the six daylight hours we get at the moment, though, of course. Today feels like a stay inside and do fuck all kind of day.

Experimenting To Be With You
Thorn Wilde commented on Laura S. Fox's story chapter in Experimenting To Be With You
Wow. That was both hot and moving at the same time. You sure do enjoy making a guy cry, don't you? -
I'm gonna head to bed as well. New Year's Eve did nothing to fix my sleeping habits.... Maybe that's my new year's resolution: Go to bed at a decent hour. Goodnight, DiC! See you all tomorrow.

Goodnight, molly!

Some friends of ours put up photos on their blog from a fishing trip. How they caught the fish, skinned it, cooked it over an open fire, and ate it. You know, as you do. Then they got these outraged comments from people calling them barbaric and 'oh the poor fish' and 'can't you just get them from the supermarket like a normal person?' I laughed. And then I cried a little bit, because really??

Goodnight!

You get moose burgers here. Reindeer ones, too. When I was at uni in England, I brought some smoked reindeer meat back after a holiday and my friend from halls was absolutely horrified by the idea of eating 'Rudolf'.

It's called rakfisk: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rakfisk EDIT: As to the why, eating dried fish all winter gets tedious; my ancestors had to figure out more interesting ways to preserve food.

You people eat weird stuff. *returns to his fermented trout, pickled herrings, and lutefisk*

Speaking of spicy things, I present to you for your amusement the following. Danish boys' choir sings Oh Come All Ye Faithful after eating whole chilis: And Matt Mercer, a talented voice actor and Dungeon Master of the popular D&D stream/podcast Critical Role, reviews the video game Bloodborne after eating a dried ghost pepper dipped in Dr. Assburn's hot sauce:

Spicy foods give me hiccoughs. I have to take veeeery small bites and chew veeeery carefully, or my diaphragm goes haywire. Same with whisky, particularly the smoky ones. Which is a good thing as I have no choice but to take my time and sip and so I avoid getting absolutely gazeboed on the stuff... Lol! Happy to amuse. I clearly have my moments, it seems.

Oh Mark, you perfect little cinnamon roll! ❤️
-
See, someone says greens and I just think vegetables in general. Possibly because the Scandinavian word for vegetables literally translates into 'green things'.
-
...is there some definition of greens here that I, a foreigner, am not privy to?
-
Fuck me, you almost made me cry for a moment there, with that argument between Aron and Carter. Ugh, everything's so fucked up for them both now.
-
Thank you! Glad you enjoyed it. Yeah, they're almost a little bit too perfect, aren't they? Still, I think I managed to keep them human...
-
I thought you might.
-
Enjoy your movie!

Heh... Because of the body swap, I haven't really been thinking 'Aron and Carter' in my head, but now I do, and all I can think about is Nick Carter of the Backstreet Boys's kid brother Aron Carter who was a one hit wonder in the 90s.
-
Right? I didn't think it either, as I was writing, but then I looked back at their previous interactions and thought, hm... There's a lot of flirting going on here, really.

Lewis is one of my favourite characters that I've written. Make sure to check out the story I wrote about him and Stephen, if you haven't.
