Blue Is So Not My Favorite Color
Thorn Wilde commented on Laura S. Fox's story chapter in Blue Is So Not My Favorite Color
Omg, dying!! So hot! I looked up the characters. Actually looked up the comic, too, and read for a bit. It's good, once the actual story starts. -
Chapter 1 - A Date, What Date?
Thorn Wilde commented on Laura S. Fox's story chapter in Chapter 1 - A Date, What Date?
Ooh, good start! The boys are cute. Makes me want to read on, so I shall! -
Thought not. Sigh... It'll be good, I know it will. Still, scary. Must be much scarier for him, though, he's the one skipping countries to come be with me.

Had to give up on gaming. Feeling kind of jittery... Have I mentioned that boyfriend gets here on Tuesday? To stay indefinitely? Like, what? This shit hasn't dawned on me at all. It's scary as hell to go from long distance relationship to this, but there's no other way of doing it, is there?

gender & sexuality "Wearing men's clothes doesn't make you a boy."
Thorn Wilde commented on Thorn Wilde's blog entry in The Fantastic Mr. Wilde
Well put, @Saraband. That's a really good analogy, the water thing. Gonna have to listen to that whole speech, too, I think. It seems good. Thanks for sharing.- 11 comments

Haha, that's awesome! Glad you're having fun. Gonna game a bit tonight, I think, if I can just get to a point in this story I've started writing where it either ends or I actually manage to take a break... It was gonna be a short story, now it's just morphing into something completely different from what I thought it would be...

When I saw Death Cab for Cutie a few years ago, he played this song un-amplified. He sat at the edge of the stage, and I've never heard a concert hall that holds 1800 people so silent. It was amazing. I cried.

Here in Norway as well. Can't imagine it's much different in the UK, even if a lot of other things are... I did quite a bit of research and was shocked at how much it takes before social services even get involved. In Norway, schools are obligated by law to report it if they suspect neglect or abuse, and then the relevant authority can investigate. In the UK you basically have to get the kid to say it out loud in order to do anything at all, so I imagine a lot of kids fall through the cracks. Plus parents are allowed to hit their kids as long as it doesn't leave marks. I was livid when I read about all this...

it’s the kind of night where i’d like to laugh and cry and fight with someone who’ll make me feel alive but on my current path there’s nowhere to go that’ll really last and there’s no peace or happiness to find oh, i wish you were here because right now I need someone to drag me from my grave and shout it out oh, i wish i were there so we could drink and live another year vacant empty streets quiet rooms where strangers meet i

Honestly, writing happy Danny has been a bit of a challenge. Thank you for reading!

Thank you for reading it! Stephen and Lewis make for the best dads, don't they?

Now, how can you be so sure things will go wrong, I wonder? Glad you're enjoying my story!

He should, shouldn't he? He's shouldered so much, poor thing. Thanks for commenting!

Have a great day, tim!

Always fun to see everyone else's responses! This is such a great feature.

I was gonna say, 'You're not one of those!' but I've been an insecure dumbass lately so I'm always second guessing myself. Trying to get over it, though.

Good morning, DiC! Took me a while to fall asleep last night after all, but at least I fell asleep earlier than normal. I liked him in my teens. Now I've had him up to here... Unless I'm, like, drunk at an after party and Livin' on a Prayer comes on and everyone's singing, but that's more of an atmosphere thing. Boyfriend likes him, though. We have vastly different music tastes, so this may be challenging... I noticed, but wasn't quite sure how to respond... 😅 I always read them.

Yeah, I'm the opposite. I mean, science and history I'm not so terrible at. I'm pretty good at things that interest me, and science and history do. But languages is where my talents lie. And, you know, music. Turns out I'm not quite so bad at maths as I thought I was, though, cause I actually managed to get through Electronics, Electro-acoustics and Room-acoustics at school, which all include quite a few formulas. It's physics, essentially. Digital Sound Theory, too, though just barely. Okay. Now bed.

You guys, something rare and wonderful has happened! It's 12:24 at night, and I'm *gasp* sleepy! I'm gonna go to bed at a decent hour! Who am I and what have I done with Thorn?? Goodnight, everyone. See you all tomorrow!

Ooh, math... I tried math. It did not go well. Good luck! EDIT: Realising that 'good luck' probably seemed sarcastic... It wasn't.

A person really doesn't need to be young to be hot.

‘You should put on a thicker coat. It’s cold out,’ said Lewis, picking at the collar of my jacket. ‘It’s nearly December now, you know.’ I stared at my feet. ‘I . . . I don’t really have a thicker coat. Or any coat.’ ‘Oh.’ Lewis licked his bottom lip, looking thoughtful. ‘We’d better fix that, then. We’ll go shopping after you’ve seen your therapist this afternoon.’ He smiled, but I still felt uncomfortable looking him in the eye. ‘But . . . you shouldn’t spend money on me . . .’

Had a fairly relaxing day. Started a new story. It’s depressing as fuck. Right now I’m at a comedy show with my family, so that’ll be fun.

I like that idea. Tend to use heart for that... think some people use Wow.
