I'm sure she does. But she's very pushy, and she takes it personally if people don't show up or are unable to contribute, no matter how good their reasons. Case in point, a second soprano who had to back out of a concert because her babysitter got sick and she couldn't find another at such short notice. For her six month old baby. Conductor was super offended. She does that. She's otherwise a wonderful lady.

Skipping the second Christmas concert tonight. One of the others will do my solo. Conductor's like, 'You should come anyway and watch!' Sorry, but no. I'm not singing cause I'm still sick. I'm not going out into the cold to see my own choir perform without me. I swear, the woman's nuts sometimes...

Hi. Are you me? *was gonna go to bed early, looks at the clock, it's 03:18 am* I have some friends with celiac disease who drink Corona, which is supposedly gluten free. They like it. I have little personal experience as I'm more of an ale guy and gluten free ale isn't really a thing...

Oh, I know. The 'female presenting nipples' that Tumblr and Facebook are banning (what does that even mean? I'm not female presenting; are my nips?) are entirely welcome on Twitter, as well as any other nudity. I know this from personal experience.

He lives in a completely different part of the country, thankfully, and since they have two kids together it seems unlikely that he'd move up here again, so I don't think I'm in any real danger (if that's the word; even if he does express an interest it's not like I'd return it). But yeah, trying to be cautious.

So, my ex whom I broke up with ten years ago has been hitting me up on messenger a lot lately. Turns out his wife left him. Starting to wonder if I should be concerned... I mean, he's a nice guy and all (he was always a better friend than he was a boyfriend), but still, feels a little bit weird when the first thing your ex does after breaking up with his wife (whom he started seeing like two weeks after we broke up, btw) is to start texting you almost every day.

In Norwegian, 'mure' (pronounced moo-reh) is a verb that means to lay bricks or masonry. 'Mur' is a noun that means a wall made of stone, brick, masonry or concrete. 'Murstein' means brick (transliterated 'wall stone').

I hope so too. Maybe that's part of the reason I've made Daniel so reluctant to tell people that he's being bullied and hurt. I want anyone who reads this to think, 'Just tell someone already!' If they think that when they see someone else who's suffering in silence, maybe it'll dawn on them that they should be telling someone as well.

I was bullied in school as well. I reported it, but I had some very unhelpful teachers, one in particular. It ended in a suicide attempt when I was 10, and after that I switched schools. I was still bullied, but it got better. By the time I was Daniel's age it had mostly stopped. Not entirely, but mostly. It's left me with some abandonment issues, self-esteem issues, etc. I ended up thinking I kind of deserved it, you know? Like it was my own fault. It's a horrible feeling. So while what I experienced wasn't quite as bad as what Daniel's going through, my writing still draws on what I felt back then, and thoughts I've had since. Thank you for reading and taking the time to comment! I very much appreciate it.

Drink plans didn’t pan out. My buddy had forgotten that he was going to see his daughter’s school play, which obviously takes precedence. We’re doing it next week instead. Also, I’m making a new friend! Dude from my class who’s going on leave like I did last year. This is the guy I just randomly started telling about my gender identity and how transitioning works and stuff when we were in the studio. The fact that he still wants to be my friend after I basically TMI’d all over him the third time we talked to each other says something about what a chill bro he is. We’re going for coffee on Thursday. So, in spite of continued ill health, this is a good day.
