  1. At my mum’s now. We’re cooking. Salmon baked in puff pastry, Finnish herring salad (beets, potato, carrots, gherkin, apple, parsley; might sound weird if you’re not used to it, but it’s soooo yummy). And prune tarts for dessert. I was gonna talk to mum about the whole transmasc thing today... it’s time we talk about it, but I feel like I’m about to chicken out. Scared of what she’ll say, if she’ll be indifferent or reject it. It’ll hurt so much if she does. We’re not talking disowning or anything, but like she’ll just pretend it’s not a thing. Just like she has when I’ve mentioned being non-binary. I’m afraid.
  2. OMG, peanut butter fudge! <3<3<3
  3. Morning! You as well! ❤️
  4. So far, so good. Today is Finland's independence day. Since my mum and I are from there, I'm going to hers to eat dinner and watch the gala at the presidential palace in Helsinki on TV. Traditions are important! Hope you're doing well today, tim.

  6. Morning @Mikiesboy! ❤️ Man, I fell asleep after my shower and didn't even say goodnight to people... Ban manners, Thorn!
  7. Maybe I do. Actually thinking I'll turn in soon, though. Shower first, I'm thinking.
  8. Nighty night, molly! Sweet dreams! ❤️ Hah, yeah, it's pretty far. Right now, it's mostly cold and dark. And it's almost four in the morning. My brain clearly doesn't believe I'm in Norway.
  9. That's awesome! Is it a fun mug?
  10. No worries! And I'm an open book. You can ask me anything. I spent my Friday afternoon last week coming out about my gender identity and explaining in detail how transitioning works to a classmate I hardly know. I have no filter.
  11. This song is even better, though. Especially if you like Tchaikovsky:
  12. Chest binder. To make boobs disappear for transmasculine humans who haven't had top surgery.
  13. Update: Singing in binder works. I need to rethink how I breathe a bit, but other than that it's all good, and I'll figure it out. Won't be able to wear it to the Christmas concerts, cause it would show under the tops we wear. Ugh.
  14. Today’s experiment: wearing my binder to choir practice. Can I sing in this thing? Stay tuned to find out!
  15. Add ginger to the honey and lemon. Hot water, grated fresh ginger, lemon juice, and honey. Hot whiskey is also nice. Splash of whiskey of your choice (I use Jameson), hot water, spoonful of honey, lemon slice. If you wanna make it Christmassy, stick some cloves in the lemon slice. And if all else fails, just numb your throat with straight up whiskey or other booze.
  16. Fun to read everyone else's responses! I love this feature. ❤️
  17. Yeah, my brain thinks I'm in a different time zone... Night!
  18. Bed time! Goodnight, everyone. ❤️
  19. Another work we did when I was in high school was Carmina Burana by Carl Orff. The whole thing is magnificent, IMO, but I'm especially fond of the last four movements, as they just weave into each other so beautifully. I knew all of the solos on this thing, but I didn't get to do any of them cause they didn't think a student would be ready to perform them. Did Dulcissime during rehearsal once, though. Nowhere near this well, I was like seventeen at the time.
  20. ...there was a movie?
