I'm glad I live in the city. I'm even more glad I live in this city. The neighbourhood I live in looks like suburbia, but the metro stops 2 minutes from my front door, and takes fifteen minutes to the city centre. I don't even have a driving license. Never needed one.

I don't doubt it. And I have taken his advice. I've wrapped up warm, chilling on the couch, eating noodle soup and drinking plenty of water. Gonna finish the second season of The Marvellous Mrs. Maisel. And try to ignore how offended my flatmate seemed when I asked if I could have the couch today... I feel like I'm generally more mindful of her needs than she is of mine. But you can't have everything in life.

Yeah, when I was diagnosed with Bipolar II instead of Major Depressive Disorder, they weaned me off the anti-depressants and onto mood stabilisers. Those are actually working and are a) letting me be creative and b) not making me fat. Which feels all kinds of nice.
