Since we are sharing plot bunnies, was it not said that Noel was the kings equal, so if someone is making the King vulnerable, have they thought about the fact that even with the separation Noel is basically the co-ruler, and with him winning over most of the counsel if he accepts their position, he could claim the King was no long able to rule and step up in his place...just saying, Noel has more power then everyone realizes. Then again, this could all be a plan between the King and Noel to root out a traitor deep within. I guess we will just have to wait and see what happens next, which I hope is soon. faster, write faster.
