I showed Brett acting the same way in Malibu and will do it again in an upcoming story. Wait until you read about Brett and his grandchildren racing out of the water in Mallorca! LOL

Since I just mentioned someone wanting CJ dumped, I'll revisit the past again. There were a couple of instances that banter you enjoy was dissed. One reader in particular claimed the gay men she knew wouldn't act that way. Following CJ's approach, I doubled down on the banter and thumbed my nose at the criticism. Glad I did.

Did you know at one point a reader suggested CJ was a lousy boyfriend and Owen should dump him? And all probably because I didn't write enough mushy lines. Since Brett and Cesar are in their forties, I try to imagine what my brothers and I acted like when we were their age. We were kinda wild so I infuse that spirit into them and extrapolate their sons personality. Cesar might be a bit tamer, but he's no wallflower. I'd love to go on vacation with that family.

Mexico incident? What Mexico incident? You mean CJ and Owen embracing James Bond's style wasn't enough? You want more than tuxedos, caviar, and chilled vodka?

Just giving everyone a break before the return to Mexico where the crap will hit the fan.

A photogenic kid with celebrity parents' going to attract attention. We'll have to wait to see how much coverage CJ and Owen allow.

Hope you realize Penn State was chosen thinking of you. As usual with CJ and Owen, that contribution's not the end of the story. Stay tuned. Those boys felt the need for speed. Brett's another kid, just without the social media addiction. I wanted to touch on Brisbane and Prokop and this was an easy, fast way to do so. Ozzie might still be surprised at their celebrity status, but I think CJ's changed his tune since the time he allowed to bad cops to walk away. His fear/disdain for publicity's apparently gone. I'd be scared to be one of those jerks these days.

Kinda? Them are fighting words. Careful, CJ may decide your life's forfeit for not admitting his daughter IS cute.

Monday morning brought an exodus toward Denver. Sebastián and Rosario had the Hawaiian Islands as their eventual destination. The Chicagoans were headed home joined by Rod and Taisha. Randy and Ty planned a New Year’s Eve party CJ and Owen had declined the invitation to, wanting to spend more time with Ritch and the fathers. As soon as the airport transport left, Ritch tackled cleaning the room his aunt, Melissa Griffon, would occupy when she arrived later in the day. The relative Brett and

I'll hit you up in a couple of weeks.
  12. Not my style for sure. I once read a story where the author killed off three unrelated women with breast cancer. It wasn't a medical tale. Definitely a lack of imagination.

I recently went looking for information of naming conventions for large donations and read an interesting article on Jeff Bezos making a huge contribution to the Smithsonian's Air and Space Museum and for once details were made public. CJ was looking to rebrand a certain monument as the Davenport Family Foundation Jefferson Memorial. The Smithonian's Sackler gallery was mentioned. It was rebranded as the National Museum of Asian Art, but Sackler's name was kept. I think a family member mentioned all contributions to the museum were made before their company started making/selling opioids.

    Eddie

He's gonna be Ritchie on an off for the rest of his life!
  16. He does wiggle his way into the strangest settings. I mean, he mentioned in a lycan story!
  17. Please note this story's not part of the CJ-Verse (Boomers, Gen Xers, & Millennials.) I rebooted Colt and Tony's origins last year, and I'd like to do the same with their meeting. Just another block on the pyramid of stories to write.

LMAO Sir Gareth of Twain would have been amazed at how Harry the Potter's son can make mops and water buckets dance. I first read about the Connecticut Yankee in Spanish when I was a kid. Since, I may have returned to the story once or twice. In English.
  19. We'll discuss CJ in the final chapter.
  20. I remember worrying about how to end the story and how much longer I should keep it going. I'm glad these days I know the ending before writing. It makes plotting so much easier.

I don't brag about these early efforts too much, since they're definitely not as well-written as later ones.
  23. You never know. I loved the premise and tried to carry the story forward, but you're right, a certain character and his cohorts took over my world. I think this could have made a good novella at about three times as long.

    Boxing Day

CJ probably knows kilt etiquette better than the others, but he won't pass up the opportunity to get the Aussies riled up.
  25. One idea I discarded was flashing back to Pam meeting Liebe right after birth and showing signs of her depression. Decided against it, wanting her behavior at Xmas to come as a surprise. Can you imagine holding all that pain in for so long?
