Hi All, I've had many a young reader email me. When I came out with my story Homeroom Bunch over 75% of my letters were from teens. Some of them were just writing to tell me how much they enjoyed the story, some were looking for a little companionship (a penpal type of thing) and others were looking for guidence because the story hit home for them. I used to have an online group for gay teens and I was able to guide them to an appropriate place so they could get further assistance. Normally I would give them a generic answer like, "Thanks for the kind words. I hope you continue to enjoy the story." I guess we need to judge each email by it's content and I do agree we need to be oh so very careful about what we say but we can reply to these emails without hurting their feelings. If they read our wook and take the time to write us, we should at least write them back thanking them for reading. Take care, Mike Sanchez :sword:

Hay All, I just read this from a friend and am really confused and a litle disturbed. ************************ However, it is with a heavy heart that I draw your attention to the countdown below. That's right...our time together is almost up. And I LOVE you all dearly for all you've done for me over the years! I hope that the body of work I leave behind is enough to let you know I appreciated every moment of it. Thank you sooo much! I am working on bringing all of the stories to a close in the next year. I want the slate wiped clean, and all debts settled. I'm making arrangements as you read this. Please, let's make this last year one for the history books. Let's truly go out with a bang. Welcome GunRunner, Better late than never for coming to the group. I think every author has the same fear you did. I know with my first story I was scared shitless. Me editor helped me get over that and after a few chapters were posted, people were telling me I had something fairly decent going. Would you let us have the link to your site so we can check it out.
