Happy Saturday gang! I have news about my internship that starts Monday and let's just say it's going to be something... 14 out of 20 are just starting school for the first time and only 2 of them went to daycare (meaning they're socialized), most are still in diapers or have regular accidents. Many don't really know how to talk and a handful don't speak French. Oh and almost all are still in the terrible two... 🤡 But the teacher seems really nice and was honest about the situation. And as they say every experience is a learning experience. Oh and Tuesday we're going apples picking at an orchard!

I made mashed potatoes, shepherd pie and tartiflette today. I try to batch cook on Sundays now, prep some bases I can pick during the week. So far it's working and I like it.
