    Omg in the north of the country over 200 people had to leave their house due to flooding. I'm watching the new and they have water up to their ass! For those cities it's the second time in barely 2 months. Houses didn't even had time to dry before being under water again, most of them or just good to be destroyed...

    For a first time it's ok but it's not enough airy and could have use a few more minutes in the oven. But the taste is there, very tasty. Next time I'll try to knead it with the Kenwood robot maybe the result will be better

    Compiègne castle isnt really from the middle age. It's final and actual design is from Napoléon 1st. The legend says that he made the "allée des beaux monts" for wife, Marie Louise, in one night!     Pierrefond is a 25 minutes drive from my dad's. Many movies and even the serie Merlin was shot there. Compiègne castle is nice too, in another style and 10 minutes from my dad's. My middle school was on the other side of the street from the castle and we'd have PE in garden/forest around the castle. We're lucky to be surrounded by mani beautiful forests here.
