Well every year after classes have started again, around October, there's some kind of competition between college students of the different schools. The goal is to be the first one to put a t-shirt with the color of your school on said wooden statue. Of course it take place at night (and with the help.of some alcohol)

It's been hot the last 2 days. We've even reached over 25°C this afternoon. A few weeks ago they said that the bad weather we had all of May is a sign of an upcoming hoooot summer with temperatures possibly reaching 40 to 45°C!

Evening gang! I'm having a chicken breast in a thym and lemon marinade - I like that marinade it's very subtle - cooked on the BBQ with French fries. Not very healthy for a dinner but I felt like treating myself. This afternoon I've started on my tablet cover. It only took me 2 tries to sew a zipper. My uncle stopped by too. We hadn't seen each other since new year's eve. I hope you're all having a nice weekend

My my maternal grandmother's mom had 16 kids and adopted 2 nephews. My great aunt, who was the youngest, had 2 nephews and niece before she was even born. Siblings are great but seeing all those kids running around and screaming ugh I couldn't do it. When I go to my mom's best friend's who has 4 kids (21, 18, 15 and 6 years old) it's a "nice mess" but after a couple of hours I need my quiet and solitude back

That's right. Exams were the second week of May. I think it well but haven't had the results yet. Administration will publish the results when all the sections (education, sociology and philosophy) will have had their jury meetings. It was supposed to be this week 🤷🏻‍♀️

So... after 10 days "only" 8 pages to catch up to pheew! I don't know what happened that had me listed as unfollowing the topic 🤷🏻‍♀️ Very very glad to know @Albert1434's growth isn't cancerous. Hmm as for what I've been up to those 10 days well not much. It'd been raining every days with grey sky and mid 10 temperatures. One afternoon we even had a quick hail storm that was so bad in a flash the ground was white like snow with the frozen beads! But the last 2 days have been sunny with temperatures reaching the 20°C! During that time to keep busy I made cakes and cooked and got my hands on the sewing machine and you know how I can get when I get obsessed with a new hobby/craft so I turned old jeans legs into cute little baskets and today I went to get supplies to make a pouch for my tablet. The main fabric is dark blue with some kind of flowery patterns in orange, yellow and red and light blue. The other fabric for the inside and a front pocket will be a flashy orange. Also after all the rain and finally some sun the strawberries are really starting to rip! I got 6 big and very perfumed ones today! Oh and last news, I've send my resume for a job at the culture and craft store. When I went last week there was a looking for hire sign for a vendor with knowledge in crafts so otally the perfect job for me but I haven't heard back yet. Dang I've missed you guys

That's scary even more so that it was natural, no ivf. There's a tv program about big families every late afternoons here and ugh every times I happen to see it while browsing channels it makes me shudder yet I feel some kind of fascination like watching a car crash. The smallest family have quadrupled under 4yo with parents under 30 and the biggest have 14 kids and the parents are just over 40yo!

I went to the craft/book store with my brother tonight and there was a flyer looking for hire with a special mention in craft knowing. That's like the perfect job for me! I'm brushing up my resume and sending the email application tonight. Also looking at brushing up my resume I saw only that being a family help can now be put on a resume. Meaning I can fill the caps in mine with all the summer I've spent at my grandparents and same for the last 2 years I've spent taking care of my mom. That's exciting in a comforting way.

My mom had one. At the time they didnt knew what they'd found. It was just supposed to be an endoscopy but then they decided to take some sample (which gave the diagnosis. Amazing that just from sample from the lungs they could tell what kind of cancer is was!). She said it didn't really hurt, just really annoying. Try to breath calmly - they can give you some relaxing medicine - and not panic
