I was at Dad's this weekend. Arriver there early evening on Saturday and left at 1pm today. I had left Looping at the apartment (not the first time he stays alone for two days) but let me tell you he made it clear how he felt about it. His wet food bowl had been dragged right behind the front door, a plush toy has been murdered and pieces scattered all over the place, he tore into the recycling trash bag and of course there was a big puke right in front of the couch. Oh and let's not forget the lil poop on a dirty sock in the bathroom floor like a last "fuck you for leaving me alone"

A bus for a day not to go to far, maybe one or two hours away, would cost between 800 to over 1000€ add that the tickets for 22 students and 2 to 4 adults... We went to the castle of Chantilly last Friday (paid by the city) by foot. I had never been and it's exceptionally beautiful (we didn't do it all, just a few pieces as we had a guide who has arranged a tour on the subject I had asked for). I'll definitely be checking it more in depth and in the spring I'll do the royal stables and the horse museum.
