Hey B HMHow are you doing? Heard my cousin is in Australia. She's been there since early May. Took a one way ticket, no idea when she'll decide to come back. She's taking classes at a college in Sydney in the mornings and then enjoying life.

You want a laugh? I ranked so well that I got my 1st choice of department (kinda like your counties). Problem? I thought I had changed my first ranking and put Oise first instead of Somme... I might have a chance to switch and be send in Oise instead of Somme. I have calls to make tomorrow.

By next week I'll have to make wishes/ranking of preferences locations/levels and I'm hoping to know where I'll be in September by early July to be able to go introduce myself to my future colleagues and see the school and classroom. I'm planning to move end of July and maybe early August go to my cousin who lived near Grenoble and/or my uncle in Annecy

Nope! Why do you think I became a teacher duh! The joys of being a teacher is the loooong breaks School will start September 1st and then 2 weeks off in late October, 2 more weeks for Christmas, in February and again in April

Guys I have my eyes on an apartment in Compiègne... It's gorgeous (and in future me budget). It's in the old military staff school right by the castle and the river. Made of those big white stones with 3 meters tall windows 🥹 I'm resisting sending a message as long as I don't have the final results of the hiring contest and my localisation for September (imagine if I end up on the other side of the state in a city right by a smelly factory )
