    Chapter 8

Tim needs Justin, as is oft the case, they were only rivals because they were unable to process feelings. And look @drpaladin no Golden Retrievers

    Chapter 8

They know what car he drives... now. Blue's desperation is very telling.

Chapter 9: Breaker, Breaker The thin morning light filtering through Ben’s grimy window felt different. It wasn’t hopeful, but it was… quiet. The frantic, suffocating panic that had driven Tim through the night had receded, replaced by a heavy, grim clarity. He was on a mattress on a moldy floor, and for the first time in days, he felt a sliver of solid ground beneath him. Ben was already awake, pulling a semi-clean hoodie over his head. “You snore,” he stated, without malice.

i think his Mum just knows him really well. She kinda knows something has changed, but she's also over the moon that her son is not an A-hole any more.

    Chapter 8

Having three girlfriends at once isn't cheap. In the first chapter we get flashes of Charlie's life style... asked by his mates if he can get them into clubs, his night clubbing in Birmingham. His BMW. Dude has a lifestyle, and you borrow cash from the wrong person... problems.

    Chapter 8

Ellis isn't a flashy Demon, he believes in many low level evils that sustain him. The idea is that the misery the demon creates feeds their power. So I treated it like long cons and short cons... both can make money, just how hard you work at it. For Ellis, he works hard and thus his power works out greater than the lazy and fat big and showy demons.

They're going to start figuring out how to defy the archivists and earn their wins.

    Chapter 7

One advantage of Ben's home is that there is no tech there at all. Comes in handy later... and no, our players are unaware

    Chapter 8

Nope, Matt's got his eyes on a good boy. Simon is all kinds of fun.

    Chapter 8

Matt's a fun, dino pajama wearing dork, who is just loveable. He gets his boyfriend in the end of this, and they stick together through the rest of the books. Matt baking a cupcake with a nail file in it for his boyfriend who broke bad lol is a high point

Interesting questions, we should ask him... As for the professor, no, believe me, illness quickly wipes out savings, especially in the kind of expensive area such as Warwick. Having gone through the better part of a decade I can tell you that savings don't last long when the NHS has you winging through the night in a taxi halfway across the country because an appoint you can't afford to miss has been rescheduled last minute, and if you decline it could take two years to get another one. *grumbles about the hidden costs of being Ill in the UK *

It makes perfect sense that the books have had that rhythm, too. Book One had to do all the heavy lifting—establishing the rules of magic, the tone, and introducing the cast. Book Two got to reap the rewards of that setup with the body-swap chaos and the cult. Book Three had to do the hard, emotional work of addressing the trauma, setting up the Ministry bureaucracy, and dealing with Edgar's looming threat. But Book Four? Book Four gets to take all that established lore, all that hard-earned emotional growth, and just play with it.

Also Tyler definately knew what he was getting into when he chose Charlie. (one of my personal rules for this one was that Tyler is 100% onboard with the whole thing. None of that cliche body swap ethics dilemma)

Hey he has his kinks Taine has to just like it or lump it. I mean, he's not exactly in a position to refuse, his boyfriend is bigger than him.

Poor old Charlie, he's not going to have anything left once Chloe is done
  20. Chapter Nine Taine had woken up on Wednesday morning feeling like he'd been run over by a metaphysical lorry. The memories of Tuesday night—D tapping on his window, the impossible £400 deadline, and the devastating, beautiful half-hour with Michael—swirled in his head until he wasn't sure what was real and what was a demon-induced fever dream. His day had been a fog of lessons, people Matt nudging him when he’d been too quiet. That bright face of his, curious as to where his

This story is like that, it's a bit brutalist in places. Chloe is a particular type of reptile, in case it wasn't as obvious who Pink is.

    Chapter 7

Chapter 8: The Trade The final bell’s shriek was usually a sound of liberation, but today it felt like a prison door slamming shut. Justin stood frozen, five feet from Tim, the space between them suddenly a vast, uncrossable minefield. The air was thick with the unsaid, charged with the panic emanating from their buzzing phones. Tim’s screen glowed with two damning words: “A trade?” Justin’s own phone, in his suddenly numb hand, displayed a message in a sickly, cheerful
