i have fixed it... I think. Hope it is clearer now... sorry again

@@#%$#@$ I have just seen that EVERY single time stamp in this damn book so far has been corrupted. No wonder the confusion. It isn't supposed to jump back in time, ever. Unless specifically pointed out) I don't have time tonight to fix an error this large, I will just apologize and try to fix it tomorrow.
-
no, no the time stamp is messed up on this chapter, I've been working all day on chapter's four and five... and haven't fixed it. Seriously, ignore the time stamps, they're junk... I will (going forward) give real dates ahead of the time stamps to ensure they are working as intended. The AI thingy doesn't understand that it is a COUNTDOWN, it thinks it is supposed to count up, and it's being a pain in the bum. I will try to fix the time stamp now, just know I need to sleep if I am to get tomorrow's chapters done... it's very late for me right now

Oh, I already know, and it is very Will Carter. And it doesn't involve unleashing the Canadian Reserve Air Force of mosquitos and Canada Geese... he isn't that cruel

Seriously, it's like dealing with a Drunk Teaching Assistant... which I have had to do... I once had to yank a TA out of a CHILD DEVELOPMENT lab, because he'd walked in with a bottle of Vodka, and decided to teach 8 year olds while slugging back hits... And this arguement with AI went about as smoothly as being dragged over sandpaper for a mile by Jack the horse.

:: curses the damn time stamps :: So I finally figured out what is going on with the ruddy things. The AI pass I do over the chapter to fix continuity errors. is misreading the times stamps and altering them in an attempt to be "helpful" I am not catching this until much later... Bloody machines... So I have yelled at the thing for a few hours... I know... my blood pressure and AI don't mix, I hate the thing. You may notice in the text the occasional BOLD highlighted name, title or something, that is also the AI being helpful and correcting mistakes I made as I type far too fast for my own good. So... I blame machines and totally not my dementia riddled old brain.

I am sure it will cackle with glee... or at least Timmy will.

Little Timmy using the Western Union telegraph machine to spread it all across North America.

i am half tempted to have the Posse confuse the hell out of them with a lot of fake kissing, mooning, and one of them dressed in drag.... but that would break the mood... funny as hell... but mood breaking... We all know it would be the Hickey boy that would put the dress on. They do look amazing in a dress! :: insert a Lydia snort here ::

Theo on the other hand, is all on board with it.
-
:: cover's Grady's ears :: Shhh he's too young, now in Book two he and little Timmy might have a few questions, you know, when they're older.
-
1. jack ate them.... 'cause screw them not including Grey. 2. Theo nicked 'em, cause he's fed up with them blocking his plays for Elias. 3. Bobby confiscated them, in the name of the Law... and HE IS THE LAW! :: best Sly Stallone voice :: or 4. Madame Lauralei had them served to them in a stew seasoned with the local spittoon.

Nope, not letting you lot have it yet... too easy.

**Chapter 7: The Ledger and the Lure** The dust of victory in Silver Creek had a bitter taste. It settled not just on the splintered wood of the jailhouse and the charred skeleton of the Hickeys' wagon, but over the spirits of the townsfolk. The Red Sash gang was broken, but a new, colder fear had taken root, one that couldn't be fought with a Winchester or a fast draw. It was the fear of being itemized. For two days, Mr. Black and Mr. White had been conducting their sil

Caleb is a media attack dog, and Lisa is a master spin doctor, between them the narrative should be interesting. Throw Brody in there and you get a dream team of media that will tap dance their way to a narrative that will play the situation perfectly. The President has inadvertently given away the one currency that Will Carter can gamble with, Time. The Power Play (see what I did there) can only last for so long, Will needs to come up with something fast, that doesn't involve him selling the country to China, or surrendering the Arctic to Russia.

Greg's an institution in this series, goes all the way back to Recourse. And at some point I will need to have him throw away a fully loaded gun, just to make @drpaladin 's day

And there is nothing Enrico likes more than punching Bigots. Edit: The author would like it clarified that by Bigots, he is referring to the buck-toothed Order bastards like Abernathy. Enrico is going to get very old school Pancho Villa on their Louisiana bayou behinds.

Enrico sipped his coffee, from the jet as it winged it's way northwards, already wrapped in a blanket. "Why does it have to snow, always snow up here?" he complained loudly. "It's just... uncivilized. Some one get me a hot water bottle, and tell Carter to turn the heat back on, si?"

Chapter three December 5th, 11:00 AM EST WORLD END: T-minus 96 days, 0 hours, and 00 minutes. The Élysée Palace, Paris, France The Salon Doré was a room of gold leaf and velvet, a place where the fate of Europe was typically debated in hushed, formal tones. Today, the air inside was stagnant, heavy with the smell of stale coffee and the unspoken terror of a shifting world order. President Emmanuel Macron sat behind the antique Louis XV desk, his jacket discarded,

Ahhh Mountain snow... and NC... damn I am jealous... I get rain, a leaky cottage roof, and our local Gay Scene (a gay duck in the pond) has flown off for the winter. Probably halfway to Cancun by now...

I admit, I am having a blast with this. Brody's Great x 5 Grandfather is a fun callback to some of my earlier work. And the poker is just, great fun
