#Chapter Twenty-Nine Puppies are great. They are bouncy, loving, adoring things. It’s a pure kind of love, there is nothing behind it, no games or tricks just raw emotion. Stoker looked a little uncomfortable holding his hat in his hands and looking up at the judge. "We promise to take good care of him," Hugo offered politely. Thomas looks up from where he is setting out his knife-fork, and a small napkin while eyeing the Bailiff, "I promise to behave..." He licks his lips and proceeds to figure out how exactly to fillet the sweating and out of his depth Bailiff that was all too aware he was on the menu.

The Lord of Fucking Bullshit, the Jackal, Richard in Toronto, his myriad of demons… and, let’s face it, he was his own worst demon at points. Tracy, and now Pixie. They wouldn’t be the last. There would be a Cambodian Military Colonel, the jungle heat clinging to his uniform, who had stuffed a gun in Jimmy’s face and threatened to shoot him.
